I'm very sad and frustrated about this store. I bought a welding machine last Friday and I returned today because of low quality. When I bought it a cashier just told me that I had 9 days to return. However, when I returned it today they charged me $58 dollar of "restock fee" and the manager told me it is because of "rent fee". I didn't want to rent, I spent almost $300 in very low quality machine. Their products hasn’t lower prices in comparison to the market and the quality is vey lower than normal. Also, they should clarify for the customer before selling to avoid a embarrassment. In summary, if you like to waste money and get a headache, this is a good place for that. Very low quality China products. Next time I'll go to the home depot or Lowes which sells quality tools and if you need to return they won’t humiliate you and extort money because of dump products. harbor freight NEVER MORE. I bought a concrete mixer from this store. Did not work so I returned it. Manager said she’d only refund 80% since I most likely used it for my entire project then returned it wanting a full refund, essentially getting its use for free. Unfortunately it wasn’t useable for ANY of my project. So I’m sold a defective product, then called a liar and I’m out over $50 for a “restock (a.k.a. ripoff)” fee, the time it took to assemble, and driving 100 miles round trip TWICE to the store. They offered to exchange it. Why? So I can waste more time building another that won’t work either? Not that they care but Harbor Freight has lost my business. I use a generator for my mobile detailing company. I bought the predator 3500 and it had an issue starting so I exchanged it for a new one. The replacement would leak gasoline in my car out of the bottom, a carburetor issue, even after I took off the side cover and shut off the gas valve. I returned it since it was leaking all over the place (which isn’t normal) inside of my car making me inhale gas fumes, and they wouldn’t waive the restocking fee. Imagine paying a “restocking fee” for a faulty product, only for the item to not be restocked, just returned to the manufacturer. Total scam.
