I stayed here several months during the yr of 2006. The church of latter-day saints paid for me to stay here. I was also enrolled in college at, Athens technical college in Monroe GA. The missionaries would come to visit me every week. They would come pick me up on Sundays to take me to church. I remember there was a butcher shop across the street from the inn. I often purchased food to ,cook on the portable grill that the church gave me. They have a bishop Store house with groceries and household supplies. Before Susan and John Mitchell would come to take me grocery shopping at local grocery store and Walmart. I was also working at the Walton county senior citizens center in the kitchen as a volunteer. 2 days a week. My caseworker with Walton county family and children services arranged that. She also arranged for me to go to college at Athens technical college Monroe campus.I successfully completed the patient care attendant program, and caregivers training for home health care, and the New connection survival skills work shop program.I also completed the food and nutrition education program with the university of Georgia cooperative Extension services. I had a real graduation ceremony. The college staff took everyone that was included in the graduation shopping to buy us all something to wear for our graduation. They bought me a brand new scrubs uniform.my caseworker arranged for a bus to come take me to and from college everyday. His name was Robert. Susan Mitchell was the president of the women's relief society at the church of latter-day saints. She and bishop Embrey came to my graduation ceremony.I graduated with the class of 2006.I pray that the Lord blesses all that came to my rescue.God almighty please bless me and all of my education, college education, work history, accomplishments and achievements.Put a stop to whatever is causing this ongoing situations. I deserve so so much...
Read moreSTAY AWAY! Pay more to book elsewhere in nearby Lawrenceville. After getting settled in my room I pulled the top bedspread and top sheet back on the bed. On the fitted mattress sheet near the headboard I found BODY FLUID STAINS AND HAIRS!! I then found black scuff mark stains near the foot and THEN what appeared to be PUBIC HAIR! I immediately repacked my car with my belongings and when upfront to complain and explain the situation. The Desk person (who was nice) then called the MANAGER (STEPHANIE WHITFIELD) who said she was not going to refund me because I been down there in the room almost an hour?! Miss Whitfield never even once offered me new sheets or apologized?! She even went so far to imply that I could have done that because I was in there for an hour before complaining! I even asked the maintenance man in the lobby to go down there with me and look at it. Even after he did and reported that there was all I said on the sheet NOBODY CARED! They can have the money! I would rather sleep in my car! Oh and I didn't even get into the live in residences hanging out sitting in chairs in the sidewalk. Some of them even came over lingering when I got put of my car. One guy was in a hoodie will his head covered. Sorry but that's a little bit too much for me. I'm not comfortable with that. STAY SWAY!! Don't make the same mistake I did! Stay in Lawrenceville which is fairly close to Loganville and has good known...
Read moreI would give no stars if that was a thing. My family and I which includes myself (which I am expecting), my husband, my 2 yr old, and a 6 month old. We have been living here since the beginning of June (it's now Aug. 28) and we have been respectful quiet tenants. There have been 3 times that my husband was not able to pay the rent by 11am when it is due but he always paid as soon as he got home around 6 or 7pm. All 3 times they lock my family and I out of our room until it was. We have no car so we asked the people in the room next to us if we could stay with them until my husband got home and they said yes (we are good friends). We then received a knock on the door letting us know that we were not allowed to sit in someone else's room that we have to sit outside in the heat or they would kick all of us out. Now this morning at 10am we were told my Stephanie that we had to be out by 12pm or we could pay an extra $64.20 to stay one more night (keep in my mind our rent was already paid through tomorrow so we shouldn't have to pay anything to stay another night) but that we were no longer allowed on her property. When asked why she told us she didn't have to give us an explanation. So she gave us 2 hours and no notice for my whole family to move and find another place to stay, knowing we have 2 kids and I'm expecting. HORRIBLE HUMAN BEINGS. They do not care about anyone but themselves and are...
