This Ross location is running a scam with the towing company! They have a few signs that clearly states two hour parking for customers. We shopped here and our receipts prove we paid at 3:02pm. Thinking we're okay, we then went across the street and took my dad to his doctor appointment. We made sure to hurry and return before our two hours were up, at 5pm, and, come to find, my car had already been towed. After asking Ross for the time the car had been towed and them not being able to provide any information other than "we know nothing, talk to the towing company" we drove to a shady area where this ghetto tow place is located. After being disrespected by the punk kid at the gate this homeless/alcoholic looking man approached us and finally opened the gate. Then he tells us only one person is allowed inside to get the car. My dad went for obvious reasons. When he came out he looked furious and could barely talk. That's when he told my mom and I that after he got inside they told him what he owed for the car ($218) and then my dad said first I need to see the time stamp of when the car was towed. Right after he said that three large men came out from the back room with a big German Shepard. Then the guy wanting the money looked at my dad and said "visa or debit". Of course he paid and said nothing because at this point what could you do? And no, there was no indicated time the car was towed on his paperwork or receipt. We're positive someone or a few people at this Ross are in on it too (whether it be the loss prevention, management, cashiers, the owner or a combination of them I don't know) because they are aware of what cars get towed throughout the day. I know this has happened to other customers before and yet they still don't care enough to at least start keeping track of the times the cars are towed?? Before you ask, no it wasn't that busy and the parking lot was not even close to being half full. And a heads up, the towing company has people in regular, unmarked cars sit in the parking lot for them (I assume they get paid under the table) and make a list of the cars to tow. I saw this happen at the tow place and recognized the car from the Ross parking lot. Worst experience ever! Had it been a movie scene someone wouldn't have made it...
Read moreI don't know if it's just me ,but Everytime I go in I'm always being followed by this same loss prevention person and he always seems to actually guide me says hello to me more than three times. And always checks my cart in a very obvious way and speaks to everyone else but me but he still follows me. I've called the store and spoken to ZOILA who is a supposed manager there and it's becoming an ongoing thing. The messed up part is I'm followed around and made to feel uncomfortable and I had to end up going to the Ross TWICE in one day because he made me feel so uncomfortable that I didn't bother on taking my time to actually get all I needed so I made a second trip. I both trip I did purchase everything in my cart. It's becoming a problem for me to shop in peace especially when he wants to make comments like check the bag there's no missing shoes in there. And I know he was referring to the comforter I was buying. I've worked at a retail store and I know the get down on how loss prevention works. I don't mind them doing their job it's just very annoying to be followed in the store. He is the ONLY loss prevention guy who follows me around all the other guys and I'm saying guys because their loss prevention only has a couple of ladies the other guys just fall back and watch the camera. I will always complain about in the store and speak to the manager in-store...
Read moreI used to enjoy shopping here but I am not sure what happened I think the staff changed but my last visit was like a bad twilight zone episode. Besides being fallowed by the employees like I was a shoplifter, they would keep asking me if I needed help and when I would ask for something specific for instance Levi's 501 they would reassure me that I was in the correct section and yo keep on looking in that section. I was told 30 min before the store was closing that I had 5 min left to shop before the store closed. The manager herself came up to me and asked how I was going to pay for all of the things I picked out and not to waste my time. I would not recommend this Ross to anyone if u can avoided it go elsewhere. To make matters worse the 501 that I got were not even real 501 the size was off by at least 2 whole sizes. 0 I tried to return some of the things that I purchased simply because it was the wrong size things I had brought for my dogg and my girlfriend and they tried their best to not take anything back and a few items i was told that they were used when infact they were not. It was...
