Iglesia Universal — Attraction in Los Angeles

This is the kind of church that would chase Jesus himself away and subsequently turn him into the police if he came back to serve today.

I'm a local to the neighborhood and was looking for a new church and while passing by, I took a moment to look at the church from the outside and see if they have any posted information about service times when I was told by the security guard that I had to leave immediately and then radioed in about a person causing trouble at the entrance. I told him I was interested in services and he said that I wasnt welcome to do so (I'm presuming because I'm white even though I'm actually half Hispanic) and when I asked why another guard had showed up and said if I didn't leave they'd use force to make me go and that he "wouldn't hold back til I got the message". So I left thinking how appalled Jesus would be knowing people who want to love and serve him are being bullied at his HOUSE OF WORSHIP.

However, I thought maybe they had a bad experience that morning and were extra on edge. But sure enough one of the next times I walked by there, I happened to stop briefly so I could grab my phone and portable charger from my bag so I could continue the virtual rosary I was praying and sure enough that security guard started being extremely evil telling me to leave immediately and when I explained what I was doing he kept rushing me and calling into his radio saying I was uncooperative and hostile when all I was doing was grabbing a quick item from my bag.

I really wanted this to be my new church as it's right around the corner from my new apartment but apparently they care more about making their congregation feel threatened and unwelcomed instead of welcomed.

I understand there's lots of transients I'm the area, but JESUS WAS HOMELESS. They would treat him just as cruelly as the wickedest high priests and Roman soldiers happily and sadistically make our savior feel hated and worthless if he appeared iñ front of them today. What a terrifying and...
