Fabulous Burgers grilled on a flattop with fresh toppings and hot Krinkle fries. Her and I both got Cheeseburgers dressed and fries, I had 2 Bottled Buds, she had Iced Tea. And the friendly bartender also brought us water. The bill was 27 and change. I left a nice tip. This was the 2nd time we went. The food and server were exactly the same, and so was the service…. I went to the Beargrass Tavern for the first time last night for karaoke night. I can confirm the following facts: The food is good. It's bar food. You know, cheesburgers fries etc. but my Buffalo chicken sandwich was good and the fries were hot and crispy. Service is pretty good for a place where a whole bunch of people are having a good time. Great local Dive bar.... The food is great. I love the chicken salad and BBQ burgers. The drinks are strong, and I highly recommend trying their top shelf bourbons. Durning spring and summer, they open up their back patio so you can enjoy a drink in the sunshine. They have live bands, trivia, and other fun events. It's a great crowd.
