The Stated Home — Local services in Louisville

So happy with my experience with The Stated Home! We needed a new couch for our living room and we were looking for something really specific. We spend a lot of time on this couch and have little kids (who are really messy :-), so we wanted it to be able to stand up to our lifestyle. I was striking out everywhere I looked around town. Then I started working with Laura and she was so amazing! She sent me so many fabric samples so I could find just the right one, and talked me through designing our very own custom piece. She helped me choose everything from the exact dimensions I wanted, the shape of the arms & legs, the washable slipcovers, to the type of stuffing in the cushions. I couldn't be happier with the final product and the fact that we were able to support a small business committed to environmentally sound, domestic manufacturing. We would highly recommend The Stated Home to anyone looking for the perfect piece...

I cannot "state" enough how great The Stated Home was to work with! Not only did they bring a unique and practical eye to my space while helping me pick out furniture and swatches, but it was all done under budget!

I was so impressed with the two chairs and poof that we chose for my space, I immediately commissioned The Stated Home in helping me find an oversized coffee table for my living room—I can't wait to see the finished product!

With The Stated Home, the process is smooth and the one-on-one support you get is second-to-none. You really feel this company's warmth in their open-and-often communication, and no question or concern is to minimal to voice. Every step of the way, I had someone holding my hand and assuaging any fears I had about my first custom furniture purchases.

Now that several of the pieces are in my home, I can't imagine going with another company...

We purchased 2 Couches and a couple of patterned pillows multiple sizes. We absolutely love that we could customize every aspect of this purchase. Laura is a wonderful consultant and very patient and easy to work with. We were in touch a few dozen times throughout the whole designing process which made us feel very comfortable with ordering a product without physically seeing or sitting in it! We bought this furniture with kids in mind and we are very happy with the ease of cleaning and quality of the fabric. After receiving our order which took a little longer due to covid, it was well worth the wait as we know these will hold up longer than anything purchased at your typical furniture store/company. If I could give 6 stars, I would as it’s been over a year now and still look like they did on delivery day even...
