Travelodge by Wyndham Mansfield — Hotel in Mansfield

Only reason I give this location aspect a 4 star is the shared parking lot with the restaurant. Being a semi driver they allow me to park here but during the business hours of the restaurant don't have enough room to swing in. My wife and our 2 children 5 and 1 year olds stayed here for an extended amount of time after dealing with our slumlord and apartment in town being uninhabitable from careless and neglect on landlords part. TraveLodge has been a great stay at a great price. Smoking and non smoking rooms. Laundry on site 2 dollars for a wash 2 dollars for a dry they work quite well. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. HOUSEKEEPING I never have saw housekeeping like I have here. Every morning they would knock on the door around 1030-1100 a.m. to check on our room if we needed anything exchanged or of the sorts. My wife was not feeling well one day she always answered the door and talked to the wonderful cleaning lady. If my wife wouldn't answer and just tell her she was ok for that day and hour later she would call the room just to make sure my wife and our kids were ok. They Interacted very very respectfully and professionally with us and our kids. The rooms were very well maintained and clean. We had a discrepancy because we pay through Priceline. Priceline set up gave us one less day then what we had thought we paid for. Being there for a while the manager (one of the owners I believe) told my wife that we've been there longer then most customers and we have kept our room clean and very respectful of the hotel and it's staff and the housekeeping staff said how much easier we made their job and our kids were very funny and respectful and instead of what a typical hotel would do and tell us either pay for the extra night full charge nothing they can do about it or leave and then come back the next day. They only charged us $25 for the night to help make up for what we thought Priceline put us up for. I will ALWAYS stay here if staying in town. It's not a 4 or 5 star hotel but being what it is exceptionally clean spacious and not outdated. Rooms with only 1 bed are extremely spacious and have comfortable lounger chair in the room. Desk table has a comfortable chair with it. Spacious fridge microwaves work well (we've been in multiple rooms recently every room has been above expectations) showers were CLEAN only one did we have where we couldn't plug the drain so our kids could have playtime with their baths but we were able to cover the drain easily to hold the water. Also offers breakfast 6-10a.m. as well If you need a short or even extended stay this place is definitely comfortable and don't have to worry about wondering if you'll be the one who can align with a great review or have an awful experience. I have not saw one dirty subpar below expectations rooms at this Hotel. And it is definitely fairly priced compared to the more expensive hotels. Same amenities service and cleanliness you'd get somewhere paying 150 dollars a night for...

The staff were very helpful and friendly. I asked for a room on the ground floor because I had a lot of equipment to carry in and they accomplished my request.

Room was so small the had an old round end table in the bathroom under the cloths rake to hold the ice bucket and coffee maker. This means that you could hand nothing long because it would drap on top of the table.

Cloths rack was old and need of repair. Towel bar was bent and barely still attached this old ball screws used to try to solve the problem.

Bed was comfortable. Room had no smells. Bathroom had updated shower and counter. TV was new and worked well.

Rooms are basic small motel sized with doors to the outside of most rooms.

The sheets were so stained I could not bring myself to sleep on them so I got towels, which looked clean and spread them out on the bed over the sheets.

Breakfast was all carbs, I would not plan to eat breakfast here.

Location is great right off the highway, multiple fast food and sit down restaurants within 1/2 mile and some walking distance. Wal-Mart just about 1/2 mile away.

Cheapest room I could find in this area. I do not think I would stay there again but spend a little more to find a place with better sheets that did not...

I recently was in need to travel from Western New York to Covington Kentucky just south of Cincinnati. On my way I made it to Mansfield and I was having a medical condition. I stopped at the Travelodge hoping I could get through it with no avail. I was forced to drive to the hospital and get taken care of. I wasn't able to stay overnight in the hospital so I returned to the hotel and as I walk to the door and opened it the man just hand me my key back. I said thank you very much I was in dire need and needed to rush myself to the hospital but I should be good now. I absolutely enjoyed my host, what a perfect room ,clean organized, everything worked very very well. In the morning I had a great conversation with Jay. I was telling him that Travis took care of me the night before and when I rushed out of there I was really hurting....in pain and hurrying. He gave a lot of affection and really genuinely made me feel like he cared quite a bit about me getting to the hospital.
