Bob Evans — Restaurant in Mansfield

I ordered the griddle stacker sandwich for curbside pickup. I get home and there isn't any sausage on it. So I called them and they go....oh sorry we're out of sausage so we gave extra bacon. Well first off they didn't give me extra bacon because each sandwich only had two slices on it. So unless they put one slice on it, I didnt get extra. Even then the bacon looked barely cooked.

I mean bob Evans is known for their sausage and honestly was the main reason I ordered from Bob Evans. And I put my phone number in when I ordered. So why didn't you call me and tell me you were out of sausage. I would have ordered something completely different. I feel like that's common sense but apparently not so.

Thanks for the impersonal cookie cutter reply. I will NOT be wasting my time jumping through hoops on your corporate website to get some kind of voucher or discount in the future. Just tell your employees to use common sense and call a customer if you're having a shortage and let them know. Don't make assumptions or just omit something without telling...

Let's see ..... we were greeted and seated in a timely manner. When we were walking to our table I noticed that the tables that didn't have people sitting at them were all dirty. The dishes were still there from the people who had already eaten and left before we arrived. Our waitress was very friendly and professional. I ordered the 2 piece fried chicken, dark meat, with mashed potatoes, gravy and broccoli. I got biscuits. The biscuits were hard. The waitress replaced them with fresh ones.There was some kind of sticky stuff on the menus. My chicken thigh was dry and over cooked. The manager was standing around, not helping to bus tables. Our waitress was the only one pre-bussing her tables and cleaning her section. Another waitress was talking to customers about getting drunk the night before. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because of our waitress. I will not visit that...

Sept 17 2022 Omg they need some quality control. Chicken Cobb salad came without bacon and menu says it includes bacon. Mo-od holy cow desert came without whip cream like the desert flyer states 'a cloud of whip cream'. Told waitress on bacon she brought some. Told her on whip cream and she said her manager made it. No attempt to give me some whip cream or adjust the bill.

I saw an employee wipe a table down with a cloth, dropped the cloth on floor then picked it up and wiped another table.

What's going wrong here???

July 2022. Cobb salads and peanut butter pie very good. Clean dining area and clean restrooms [paper towel dispenser did not work]. Plenty of workers, not many patrons.
