Terrible Terrible Terrible. What Was Suppose To Be A Nice Get Away Turned Into A Disaster. The Guy Who's Usually At The Frount Desk Tim Beasly Is Very Rude &Obviously Doesn't Care About Customer Service. Spent Hours Arguing About A Reservation I Did Online Through A Website That Wouldn't Show Up In The System & Instead Of Trying To Help He Simply Did Not Care & Stated Multiple Times "I Can't Do Nothing For You" Or "Looks Like You Won't Be Getting Checked In Here Tonight " Which Really Is Unprofessional And Rude! I Wouldnt Give Up Aftef Being Told No Several Times I Finally Got Incontact With The Website I Booked From So They Could Call Him & Give Him The Conformation Number To Help Us Get Into Our Room We Paid For, He Still Gave Us A Hard Time ! And Said There Was Nothing He Could Do Because It Wasn't In His System. After Getting So Fustrated To The Point Where I Was Going To Loose My Mind Something In Him Decided To Finally Book Us In A Room For One Night Even Though We Paid For 2 ! And Was Told To Come Down Early In The Next Morning To Get Checked In For The Next Night After Spending So Much Time Fighting With This Man Exausted Then Having To Come Down A Few Hours Later In The Morning. Imagine Reserving A Hotel That's Paid For But Not Being Able To Check In What A Complete Disappointment. There Was Also A Man Standing Next To Us Having Difficulty Checking In As Well (Who Was In The Military I Believe! ) Because Of A New Tax Fee Being Added To The Card He Booked With& Trying To Get Customer Service From His Card To Talk To Tim Beasly As Well , Poor Guy Had To Get An Entire New Card The Same Night & Was Told Several Times He Couldn't Pay For It Out Of Pocket Since It Was Already Booked On The Card. To Top It All Off Room Service Knocked Once Then Barged In While I Was Half Dressed. Then Was Told That I'm Lucky To Get Towels Because They Don't Usually Cone a Past A Certain Time , Unbelievable ! First And Last Time Coming Here. Breakfast Isn't Really Breakfast And Rooms Might Be Comfortable But Definitely Not The Cleanest Bath Tubs . The Pool Looks Like No one Performes Any Kind Of Maintenance On It Almost As If It Wasn't On , The Water Was Freezing. My Advice Is Do Not Book The Same Night! Pay Same Price And Go Somewhere More...
Read moreI originally booked for 2 nights. First thing upon my arrival was I noticed the smell. A very distinct smell of Marijuana. And of course this hotel claims they will keep your deposit if your room smells, but they don’t mind the lobby smelling. Next, was the booking. I was not given the room I initially booked. Of course, when I brought this up, it was instantly an issue and how if I had done anything in the original room, that I would have to stay in that room. And just deal with the price that I paid. Fortunately after a slight back and forth, I was able to move to the room that was booked. The next day, I had an emergency come up and had to leave early. I approached the front desk, and explained the situation, of course they were very understanding and explained that I could indeed receive a partial refund on the additional day since I was leaving but I would need to contact Expedia(who I booked through) to request it. They asked if I purchased the protection plan, and I did and they said there should be no reason as to why I wouldn’t receive the refund. I contacted Expedia, explained the situation and they contacted the front desk. The front desk then refused and advised not to refund the difference because they were not made aware of the early check out. So I am now out over 140$ due to incompetence and a lack of communication between employees and customers. Overall this has been one of the worst experiences with a what should be a professional...
Read moreThis hotel is in an "okay" area. It was hard to get off and on the road right in front of the resort because of a lot of Semi's coming in. It is only 30 minutes from Atlanta, with the traffic however makes it a 45 min - 1 hr drive.
We stayed in a 2 bed queen room. Our room was very modern and up to date. The only thing that made it feel unfinished was some caulking work in the bathroom. Not a big deal obviously, but the room and bathroom were so nice with nice appliances, the lack of detail gives you a different feeling. There is an inside pool thats open early and stays open late. It was nice not to have to go outside and just relax in the pool for a few minutes.
Only downside is they are renovating so the lobby is noisy and you can't sleep in past nine if you were planning on it. They are also working on the pool area so I was worried I would step on a screw or something would be in the pool. There wasn't thankfully! The plus of the reneovations is they are trying to make the atmosphere better which was nice.
Staff aren't always around at the front desk but they are super friendly. We got a call about 3 minutes after we got in our room to make sure we were satisfied. And we had food deliver, they were nice enough to call us and give us a heads up that they were on our way to our door.
I would definitely stay here again if we are ever in...
