Krystal — Restaurant in McDonough

The food and service were horrible. I went through the drive through and ordered the classic chic meal. I took a bite of my sandwich and it was horrible. The sandwich was not hot so I went back around to the drive through to let the cashier know and she stated that she could make the meal fresh with mo problem and asked me to pull up. A lady came to my window and said that they could not make my meal fresh because she just made it. I told her what my problem was and said that maybe the food would taste better if it was cooked fresh. She stated that she was the manager and could give me something else because she just made it and it would taste the same. I asked her to touch the food and she would see that it was lukewarm warm and maybe that’s the reason for the taste. So she stated that she wasn’t going to make it over again so I agreed to order something different which was the Krystal meal and that she could just refund me the difference but she stated that they don’t give refunds. And then that started another argument until she just walked off and I sat there for at least 15 to 20 minutes. So while waiting I contacted the corporate office and made my complaint . While speaking to corporate , a guy brought out 2 Krystal chics that was luke warm again and no fries with my meal. At this point I was just done so corporate was on the phone the entire time that this was going and instructed me to just go ahead and leave and that they would forward my information and complain to someone else. This has been the worst and I mean the WORST experience that I’ve ever had to deal with, especially from a so called manager. There is absolutely no excuse for her behavior. Edit... 10/21/24 WOW what a turn around. Drive Thru was like a whole new place. Although still pricey for 2 lunch orders $28. However, the food was correct, fresh, and delivered with a smile. Very welcoming. It's like they cleaned house and put people who were grateful to be earning a check. The parking lot was clean, and lots of cars. Very refreshing. Edit... 4/2/24 Well my daughter begged to go for a quick bite. Boy what a change. Drive Thru still takes way to long for Krystal. We had to pull up and waited over ten additional minutes for order. 12 pack, 2 Fry's, 2drinks. As well as a order for 10piece chicken wings. A little ridiculous for fast food before lunch. However it is definitely had vast improvements since last visit. Still going with a review of a 3. 10 piece "chicken only" was 🚨$15 not including tax....🚨 What the heck!!! Over $37 to eat lunch at Krystal😳🫨😱🤬

I just changd my review from a 4 to a 1. Not sure what happened but this location has gone to trash. Public would be better served to close these doors, fire everyone, and rehire a whole new crew. The district manager should be ashamed to have his name attached to this establishment. Skeleton crew constantly. Outside needs major work, drive thru half the time isn't available, because there is only one person there. There have been 3 occasions in last 2 months where they are open, but one comes to drive thru, doors are locked, yet you can see person standing in there on cell phone. It's sad because this is a very busy area and they could be banking with the amount of people that have driven off due to no service. Piss poor management or lack of. Great location...

2 stars is even a reach but I wanted to commend the woman who was working night shift a couple of weeks ago through drive thru, she was prompt and friendly. Aside from that, every single time I've come through drive through no one acknowledged me on the intercom or said they were closed, even though it was during business hours or I was told there was a 30 minute wait etc. And they weren't busy at all. I mean this is almost every time I've tried to order through drive through. I'm not even sure how that location is in business anymore. I really hope someone affiliated with that location or corporate is reading these reviews. Please do something about day shift and who is managing it during that time. Service or lack of is non existent during day shift hours during the week through drive through. The most recent visit or attempt through drive through was this past Sunday (11/26) at about 1:40pm - sat in the drive through for about 15 minutes, a car in front of me sat at the drive through for a good minute then finally moved forward then I pulled up waiting to be acknowledged, 5 minutes later I asked I asked if they were even open and finally I wad told no, which was crazy because it was 1 something in the afternoon and the red car in front of me was parked at the drive through window.

I'm just trying to figure out how I can get some Krystal's during my lunch break sometimes at that location. If there is some sort of trick or I'm just coming at the wrong times please let us know. Because this has become...
