The ONLY reason to stay here is if price is your ONLY consideration. Rooms are dirty (e.g., dresser drawers not cleaned out - see pics, carpet not vacuumed, windows full of finger prints, etc., etc.). Furniture is beaten-up particle board and staff service ranges from complacent to rude, though one or two warm up after a while. The SINGLE FLORESCENT bulb in the bathroom burned out and, after three days of phone calls requesting it be replaced, I'm still waiting for someone to come fix it. There is no window or other light in the bathroom, so the bathroom is virtually unusable. I'm checking out today and that is the best feeling about this place I've had in the last week I've been here. Hallway consistently not vacuumed - a chicken bone has been in the hallway all week. No dish pack, after asking at the front desk three times. They did give me a bowl, a cup and a knife and fork, though. Again, if price is your only consideration, stay here. Otherwise, there have to be better places than this. That said, it looks like Extended Stay is trying to take over Memphis. Seems like 1 out of every 3 hotels is an Extended Stay, here. There must be a market for this level of hotel since there are lots of folks coming in and out. I've tried to give this chain a chance, but it's just not worth it. (Previous stay, I arrived with a confirmed reservation and was told their cleaning staff hadn't shown up so they didn't have any rooms available.

My intial stay was suppose to be 3 weeks but I cut it short after my 1st week and it would have been cut even shorter if it hadnt been for inclement weather. The hall floors had so much trash on them on my hall RM#101. My toilet was not clean luckily I brought my Clorox clean up. My trash can was filthy and so was under the kitchen sink. I have never been told from a hotel that I can only get one roll of tissue per day. One morning I sent my older son down to get a roll of tissue and he was told they didn't have any at moment😒😐. I asked for a light bulb over the dining area for 4 days straight and a working phone in the room I was told maintenance would bring one I never recieved it. So we ate in a dark area. This was suppose to be a comfortable stay but my stay was very disappointing.

Good place, but we have remind about weekly cleaning again and again. Either they don't change the sheets or don't remove the towels or don't mop the floor or vacuum. Besides all these still it's worth. I have stayed better ESA hotels in different cities that are better than this. Their website says grab and go breakfast include muffins, bananas and apples. But I have never seen them here. But as I said earlier, the other ESAs I stayed in the past serve them. I feel the management of this one is so mean to fullfil the promises they say in the website.

I made a reservation to stay at the Extended Stay of America through he dates of December 2, 2022 to May 1, 2023 . Since I been here , I have experienced problems, after problems , I made my reservation a week in advance to secure my room . When I arrived, I was checked into a room (204) where someone’s stuff was already in there . I was moved to another room. The room that the General Manager placed me in was (214) , and that room was not cleaned up at all. Then I moved to the room (220), the door would not even open up at all and had to be placed on maintenance. Mind you I’m just making it into Memphis, after making a 23 hour drive and at this point , things were looking very hopeless . I did not know what else to do . So they placed me in this room that I been in for the duration of my stay after I told them I had no where else to go. I get in this room and one of the stove top eyes did not work. Just when I just came with the grips of reality, that’s when the other eye on the stove went out. So I had no way of cooking anything now ! I complained to the General Manager about this issue time and time again, and there was no solution to alleviate my issues. I had lighting issues within this room and they scolded me as if I’m getting on their nerves. After speaking with several residents that are long term guests, they told me that there have been several break ins within vehicles , due to having no parking spot lighting . It has been literally pitch black in the parking lot since my arrival . The only reason why I stayed here because every other long term stay hotels were booked to the capacity and I had no where else to gos . Do, on a different day, I went to the front desk and asked for clean towels and I received a batch of towels that was allegedly “clean” and they smelled like they were not clean. To describe the smell, the smell gave off an odor that they were just placed in the washer with no added additives, none whatsoever. The front desk clerk told me that there was not any bleach and they haven’t had bleach for a week . I was disgusted. At that point, I took it upon myself to start washing my own towels with bleach that I buy from the store to ensure that I was getting bleach placed in my towels. To add to the confusion, there was no hot water in the laundry room facilities at all. As I mentioned to Ms. Phylis about the stove situation on numerous occasions, I told her that I have not eaten home cooked meals since I been here, she tells me “I could have lunch meat and crackers”. At this point, what do you do? So above my room, there was a woman that had 5 people living with her. , that made noise all throughout the night and day . It was so bad to the point that I could not get any sleep . I pleaded with Ms. Phylis about either moving her or moving me for two whole weeks . Ms. Phylis did not care at all about my situations. The only thing Ms, Phylis cares about was money from the tenants that actually paid their rent . There were no special provisions given after the -Water being shut off for 4 whole days Electricity being out for 3 days Pipe bursting and water entering our rooms to flood tenants out Roach Infestation issues Stoves not working properly or not at all No bleach for towels to be clean No hot water within rooms or laundry facility No compassion and sympathy for the ones who had their cars broken into So when it was time for Ms. Phylis to evict the woman above my room , the woman was so low down, she turned her sink on in the room and stopped up the sink . The water flooded her room and it came through the floor, flooding my room . When I brought this information to Ms. Phylis , she didn’t care . She just moved me to another room . After dealing with so much, more than what I should have put up with, I made a reservation at another hotel and I left. This has been the WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE !! They really need to shut that extended stay down and...

So, far my experience has been terrible with the company. I have been a long time customer of Extended Stay and I'm disappointed in having to write such a bad review. I made a reservation at the Mt. Moriah location and invited family to stay with me while I was in town. We checked out the following day with a clean room as usual. During our stay the kids were a bit rowdy and wound up from the sugar of their long journey so, a couple of us checked into another available hotel. We returned to Extended Stay to get the kids and the other adults for have breakfast then check out early because they had further to go on their destination. 4 days later my credit card was charged $250. When I received my bank alert of the charge I called the hotel and waited for a manager to contact me. 3 days went by when I was able to speak with an ASSISTANT manager and she informed me of why my credit card was charged. She told me there was SMOKING in the room and the room smelled like SMOKE. I said she was mistaken because a 3, 5, and 7 year old along with an adult who doesn't smoke was in ther room. The assistant manager was adamant of someone smoking in the room. So, I contacted my relative and asked did she smoke because the manager said there was cigarette butts on the night stand which I KNEW wasn't true because we all cleaned the room before we left. The assistant then accused ME of smoking in the room and I was responsible. If I SMOKED WHY WOULD I CHOOSE A NON SMOKING ROOM. My relative explained to me that she walked next door to the store to get juice and ice for the kids. She couldn't find the usual ice container in the room but she was able to find a can with liner in the service stair walkway. She took the bag out and saw the can was too dirty to use. she placed the can near the door which I saw but didn't pay attention of the trash contents. I explained to the assistant manager of the can but, she kept asking why did the room smelled as smoke. I explained to her the room would smell like any trash you bring into the room (Common sense right) and no cigarette butts were present. She stated she had PROOF of pictures. I asked her to email the pictures. 7 days had passed when I was able to receive the pictures only after I told her I contacted the Customer relations line and THEY had not received any pictures. Richard Ringo the district Manager was suppose to follow up with me. So, I waited and waited. 7 days passed and no word from Mr. Ringo of the pictures he received. The pictures were not even of the room we stayed. (UNBELIEVABLE) I was told by the customer relations attendant that Mr. Ringo reviewed the pictures and refused to refund my $250. when I call the customer assistant number I have been on hold for OVER 30MIN each time I call and STILL no direct from Mr. Ringo. I've called a total of 4 times and wait for over 30 minutes on hold. This is unacceptable So, I will have to pursue my refund direct from my bank and let the bank and hotel company...

DO NOT STAY HERE! BEWARE!!! On February 16th 2019, I placed a bid on Priceline for a 2.5 Star Hotel. First, let me express to anyone considering priceline....DON'T!!! Any benefit of using their service has long passed. They are nothing more than corporate thieve's and their is absolutely no reason to give them your money.

Aside from priceline giving me this hotel (which was not even in the area that I chose); .....I was literally unable to check in..... I arrived at the hotel shortly after midnight. Upon entering the hotel there was a very strong odor of Marijuana smoke in the entrance and lobby. There was no one at the front desk, so I waited..and waited. I looked around the hotel for signs of someone that may work there. There was a man watching tv around the corner from the lobby in what appeared to be an employee lounge, at a very high volume. I asked him loudly, if anyone was at the front desk and he completely ignored me and was looking right at me. I returned to the front desk and there was still no one there. I then called the hotel 3 times and I could hear the phone ringing in the office and behind the desk every time. It was never answered. I took several photos of the empty front desk and lobby with myself in several and also included the clock that was behind the desk so they could not deny that I was there. (I knew they would try.)

I contacted priceline immediately after leaving the property as I was unable to check in. Priceline attempted to call the hotel however there was no answer just as before when I attempted to call the hotel myself. Priceline informed me that they could not reach the hotel and to try again. 30 minutes later I called priceline again. They called the hotel and were able to contact someone there. The employee at the hotel supposedly attempted to give a refund but there was "technical difficulties" with the equipment so I was told to call back tomorrow. I called priceline the next morning and when they contacted the hotel, the employee now denied the refund stating that I was a no show. I have physical evidence/proof showing that I was there at 12:15 AM and that I attempted to call the hotel 3 times.

Neither priceline or the hotel would grant the refund. Extended Stay Mt. Moriah stole money from me and my family. How can it be legal to accept money for a product/service and then not provide that service?

Please do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this hotel and from priceline that you can !!! Unless you are a drug dealer or user, this is not the...
