Overpriced and Underwhelming Experience at PizzaMe
As someone who loves trying new restaurants, I was excited to check out PizzaMe after reading several glowing reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected.
First, I tried to place my order over the phone, only to be directed to what seemed to be someone’s personal Google Voice number that went unanswered. Determined to give the place a chance, I switched to ordering from their website. The website, however, doesn’t list the pizza sizes, which made it impossible to gauge what I was getting for the hefty $14.99 price tag per pizza. Still, I assumed these had to be decent-sized pies to justify the cost. Spoiler alert: I was wrong.
Upon checking out, I was hit with $12 in taxes and fees for just two pizzas. Clicking on the details, I discovered a mandatory $9 gratuity fee that can’t be removed. What started as two $14.99 pizzas suddenly ballooned to a $45 order.
When I arrived to pick up my food, I was surprised by how small and cramped the restaurant was. But the real shock came when I opened my boxes. The pizzas were tiny—personal size at best. I added a picture with a bag of chips next to one of the pizzas just to show how small they were. I ordered the "Haven" and the "Dream Chaser," both of which turned out to be utterly forgettable. The flavors were bland and unremarkable, leaving me regretting my decision to try PizzaMe.
Overall, this was a disappointing first (and last) visit. The pizzas were not only lackluster in taste but also outrageously overpriced. Unless they make some serious changes, I won’t be ordering from...
Read moreThe service was lacking was my first impression when I walked in. There wasn’t the general pleasant welcoming that is shown when you enter a business. It was my first visit and as I was making a decision, I asked about if there was a relationship with Big Bill’s Bbq nearby and I was provided with an uninterested “yea” response. I ordered the Big Bill’s Bbq pizza and then entered the sitting area which is not very apparent since it is nearly walled off without clear direction that there’s seating around the corner. I thought it was a carryout establishment only at first. The music was rather loud initially, but it did get turned down, which was nice. The seating area itself was a stark contrast the the carryout vibe of the front. Rather the seating area looked like a nice nightclub. The entire restaurant had black walls, but the gold accents in the seating area and restroom made it quite classy. The pizza itself was decent. No complaints. It could’ve been jazzed up with some red onions, perhaps. There was not Parmesan or crushed red peppers on the table. But my friend did grab some from the front counter. Overall, it seems to be a nice addition to the neighborhood. They just need to make some adjustments to their greetings and engagements...

On my visit, they truly had it all—except shrimp (unfortunately for us pescatarians). Since I don’t eat beef, chicken, or pork, I loaded up my pizza with every vegetable available—and I mean every single one! The regular crust was a perfect choice: light, crispy, and expertly prepared. The Alfredo sauce was a creamy, flavorful burst that paired beautifully with the fresh, crunchy veggies.
The décor? Simple, modern, and classy—a comfortable yet stylish setting. The staff made the experience even better, offering friendly smiles, helpful suggestions, and an overall welcoming vibe.
