I want to say several things.

Pro: Very close to downtown and Methodist University Hospital. Decent rates, especially if you book on Hotels.com or another travel website. The rooms were clean and didn’t have any odor of pets (it is a pet-friendly motel). When the TV didn’t work, we were moved to a different room with no problems. Seemed to be pretty quiet for the one Wednesday night we were there. There are gates and a fence around the property that are not shown in the pictures above. It seemed a little safer to me, but if you don’t like fences, it could be a Con.

Con: I booked a handicap accessible room and didn’t get one. Even after moving us due to the TV problems, we didn’t get one. You cannot check in until 3:00 p.m. sharp. No one is in the lobby at all until then. This could cause a problem if your schedule doesn’t coincide. The lobby is not open. You have to check in via a bank teller tray. One customer ahead of me when checking in was inpatient after having to wait until 3, and the clerk cussed him out loudly. A teen approached our truck while waiting to check in, asking for “any kind of work to earn a couple of dollars for food for him and his brother.” He was alone and reeked of marijuana. (I have no problem with marijuana, but if he wasn’t smoking weed, he would have more money for food.). I feel this would have been avoided if the lobby was open. You must be out of the room by 11:00 a.m. sharp or you will be charged $50.00. We made sure to be out in time to not test that out, but the owners were hanging out by our room for at least 15 minutes before 11. They want to make sure you leave. No breakfast offered. Fortunately, there is a Burger King and McDonalds close by. Some of the sheets were stained, BUT they were clean and didn’t smell.

If we needed a clean place to sleep, I might stay...

Paid more because I mixed up my reservation, and came 12 hours ahead. So instead of $50 per night I was charged $70 per night for 2 nights.

I'm currently staying here until Saturday July 12th I was in room 201, I immediately changed the room because the A/C is on but no air is coming out. Waited at least 20 minutes for the CSR to come back because he vanished, was calling out hello, knocking on the door. No response, I literally asked for my money back, but he changed the room instead. Moved to room 132, cigarette smoke saturates the room even though its a non-smoking room The top blanket on the bed has so many stains on it, its gross, and it looks like it has not been washed for some time stains on pillow case VERY OUTDATED A/C Unit and bathroom Fridge barely cools, and is filthy(has hair in it) Stains all over the walls, curtains and doors cigarette smoke coming from the AC so bad that I had to spray perfume in the room to try and mask the stink smell The rooms need to be cleaned, daily housekeeping should be mandatory unless the current occupied guest opt out. But the rooms are not clean. The toilet, sink and shower were not cleaned in both rooms Urine smell in room.. im not sure if its the bed or the ac blowing the sheets causing the smell. Im too tired to change the room again. wifi was down so the card system was not working, had to go get cash. did not mind not paying a card processing fee. Wifi began going in and out during the day bed bugs You can only feel the A/C standing directly in front of it. It doesnt cool the entire room

Pros its gated wifi works best at night/early morning microwave bed is soft Located near shopping places lots of parking

I arrived at 1:30am, mixed up my reservation, so i was beyond exhausted. I will never book here again, lol I can assure...

I went to motel 6 downtown at 210 s pauline st september 22 between 6 and 7 PM. I asked for towels (because there were none that were clean and there was a dirty and crusty towel hanging from the shower rod) around 8pm and the guy at the front desk told me someone would come upstairs and bring them to me. I waited an hour and no one came. As I was inspecting the room I could tell that no one had cleaned the room properly after the previous person who stayed there. I noticed and killed 4 roaches, the dirty used towel on the shower rod, the phone was ripped from the wall and left on the floor surrounded by debris, mold in the bathroom, and stains on the bed. When I went downstairs to express my concerns and requested to be placed in a different room, the man at the front desk shouted, " You can just find somewhere else to stay! I am taking 20.00 off and you will get the rest in 3 to 5 business days!" As I was scheduling another lyft to another hotel, a man who also was staying on the 3rd floor came and expressed the same concern that he did not have any towels and the room was dirty. The man at the front desk shouted at him as well and told him to find somewhere else to stay. I left the motel at 9:32PM. Present day (September 24th) I receive a notification from my bank showing that instead of 20.00 being taken, they took 72.94. I spoke to Patel at the motel 6 at 10:37 and he stated I need to talk to a manager in the morning and he doesn't handle these situations. I am highly upset at the level of disrespect and rudeness I was shown repeatedly by the staff. I will continue to express my concern until this situation is...

This place is a total dump. Notice how all the “people” giving this place 5 stars only have 1 review to their name? Wish I had paid closer attention before booking. The floor is sticky (!) so I wet a towel and scooted it around. You can see just how dirty the floor was from the photo. The security lock on the door is broken, the door frame is damaged from when the door was forced open at some point, the curtain is broken and nasty, there is a hole in the wall stuffed with a paper towel. There are crayon scribbles on the wall and air conditioner, the toilet seat is barely attached, the soap dish is dirty and coated with soap scum, there are houseflies in the room, the comforter is stained in multiple places, and the only chair is dirty. We have to constantly run the air conditioner because the room is extremely humid even though it is cool and dry outside, and I have had to replace the room key card twice in 24 hours because it stopped working. The parking lot is full of people loitering around, someone slept in their car in the parking lot last night, and I witnessed an apparent drug deal this morning because they decided to do it right outside my driver’s side window *while I was sitting in my car*! 1 star instead of zero because the tv works, there is an ice machine, the bed and pillows are comfortable enough, the hot water works, and the trolley to S. Main St. is only a couple of blocks away. Minus 4 stars for…literally everything else.

Famed spokesman Tom Bodett certainly wouldn't leave "a light on for ya" here. LIKES: Relatively convenient, it's not downtown, but ok if you need to be in the Memphis medical district. The property and surrounding parking lot are secured with perimeter fencing with private security. DISLIKES: Sigh...the condition and cleanliness of the rooms I stayed in. It says "remodeled Spring 2022" — HA! The ill-fitting plumbing fixtures, torn lampshades, stained bedding, grimy stairwells, and dirty towels in the bathroom from the prior guest(s) all say differently as well as lazy management who either doesn't care or is incompetent. That Motel 6 allows a franchisee to operate under its brand in such conditions...I just don't know what to say. TO THE OWNER: Do better. You're taking travelers hard-earned money and can't even check that the rooms are truly cleaned and in good shape before turning them over to the next night's weary, unsuspecting traveler? Do better!

(This is my uncle’s experience during his visit on May17th) DO NOT…I REPEAT…DO NOT STAY HERE! I booked this location because of it proximity to Beale St to celebrate my birthday. We were assigned to the most trashed room I’ve ever experienced! The room had obviously been used and not cleaned after use by other customers. There were used cups on the bed stands full of cigarette butts. The bed was completely unmade and used! There was a pile of used towels on the sink counter. The shower rod was hanging from its hinges with a used washcloth hanging on it. The fire alarm was dangling off the wall by its wires and the tv was cracked. The pictures show exactly what I found when entering room 223. Then when I went back to the front desk and showed the rep the video I recorded, he responded as if he didn’t believe that’s how I found the room. I demanded a refund and left immediately.
