ALDI — Local services in Memphis

Lines are always long. Produce isn’t fresh fruit is sometimes molded or looks beat up.

There’s one worker in particular I want to point out. I don’t know his name, but he’s an African American guy with locs, and he always has an attitude when I come in. I get that working in customer service can be stressful, but that doesn’t excuse being rude. He throws groceries in the basket instead of placing them how would he or the GM feel if someone threw their things in the cart like that, just to move fast because the lines are long?

He also rings up other people’s items by mistake trying to rush, and talks about customers to other customers. Every time I’ve come in, it’s the same bad attitude. Not everyone is meant for customer-facing roles maybe he’d be better off stocking instead. I always leave with a bad taste in my mouth after dealing with him.i hope some of these things get resolved I would hate to see a brand new addition too down town Memphis...

Worrrst experience I’ve ever had at aldis. I door dashed at this location they have items placed everywhere most items not even at the correct location. 3 cashiers throughout the entire store I asked for help from a employee who was shopping through the busiest hrs ever he just pointed and said “it’s all the way in the back” ………. Whaaaaat? Back where? Where I checked? Where I missed” I go and take a second look and still didn’t know where exactly to look. By now he is at the register so there were 3 employees at the register. So I go and ask if there was anyone out on the floor to assist me with locating a item “ no everyone is on a register “ looks like they are short stafff I mean cool but hiring some more employees! I had to refund a customer for 3 items on ONE order! No consideration or sympathy AT ALL! Yall will hire any body I will never shop this specific...

This place just opened, and is already falling. Props to the few ppl who work it and are doing what they can, but this place seems to be poorly managed. Some of the products are poorly placed and the LINE not lines. Goodluck getting another person to be on register, its like dollar tree. And seen several poorly managed moments w some woman and the employees. Unsure if she was a manager, but she didnt act like one. Employees are always kind but man, they need help. And tbh, seen a lot of Aldis in 10yrs here... they are never properly...
