Shelton Motel — Hotel in Middle Township

WARNING!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! I booked as a last minute one night stay for my wife and I. When I called to confirm my reservation, I thought I reached some grumpy, unprofessional man’s home...”what you want”. I tried to cancel after that short conversation, but the booking site was no help. The Whole front of the motel is gravel. Looks like they don’t make enough to asphalt the front. The office is a do it yourself shack, which the owners live in. The room was grouse with stagnant cigarette smell, dirty, sandpaper towels and a half broken bed...btw, one outlet across the room from the bed. Ohh...NO PHONE either I asked for a bed sheet and was told that the bed has 2 sheets, “why you want another sheet?” Then I got accused of having extra people!! We’re not into that...the female owner did not give me a bedsheet. I then asked for an extra pillow. I was told there are three pillows on the bed. No extra pillow. Once I stated I needed it for a medical reason, she said she would get me the pillow, but no extra sheet, lol. I waited by the front door of the room. When she brought the pillow, I could not open the door because she stood by me to look inside the room. Once you even crack the door open, you have a direct view of the whole room. Well, since I respect my wife’s privacy, I waited for her to leave. She got angry and gave me this stupid look and stated, “Exxtraa people” twice while she was walking away... So i didn’t technically have a room here, but my truck broke down and pulled into their parking lot. after about 5 minutes of trying to work on my truck and have already called triple A to come tow my truck, the lady of the place comes out screaming at me telling me i can’t park there, after i told her i had broken down, she showed no remorse and kept yelling at me to move my vehicle & take it to a garage (mechanic) after repeatedly telling & showing her how my truck won’t stay running, she starts telling me it’s not her problem, to call the police, & that she will charge me for parking there. then also asked repeatedly why i come to park at her hotel. she rather have me broke down on rt 47 blocking a lane of traffic than to be parked in their parking lot. then called me some derogatory names in her own language and walked away. did call the cops since she told me to multiple times and they had to talk to her to tell her what’s going on. unbelievable. wouldn’t ever consider staying a night here under...

This “motel” firstly has cockroaches, they do not wash blankets, do not use cleaning products , only thing they bring in rooms to clean is a broom and dust pan. I had to clean my own room, the “owners” have no respect for guests, they just walk in your room, i was about to shower as the older man just walked in my room . They do not treat you like a guest, they treat you as if you are trash. They yell, get ignorant, and snatch things out of your hand. I would not recommend. This motel honestly should be shut down. Toilets arnt attached , sinks woble , bars on the windows . Mold in the room i was in, when you leave the room unattended, 80% chance they are going into your room.
