Absolutely the worst fast food chain I dealt with. This is the dirtiest, most scum infested Burget King I had ever had been in. From the moment you step in, you'll know why. The floors are sticky, probably have not been mopped in days; the tables still have trash on it due to all the frantic workers not knowing how to act; the utter chaos behind the counter. I went in today around 2:30 and after waiting about 7 minutes in a 3 person line, ordered a Double Whopper with no buns. The cashier looked at me funny for a second then called another employee over. Now I don't know if it's this guy first day or what, since the second employee quickly pushed two buttons and labeled it 'low carb'. Fine, good, now I can pay... still $6.00!! I don't want any special discount for not having half the burger, but come on!
Anyway, here comes the fun part, waiting for my meal. There was now a crowd of people around the end of the line, all waiting for their meal, I stood next to a gentleman that had been waiting also for about 10 minutes. As the time passed I watched the chaos that unfolded behind the counter. Employees yelling at other employees to hurry up, employees that DID NOT have gloves on (come on now!) and even one cashier that had been blabbering to one customer under her breath about her personal problems with working there! I also noticed one employee working the fry machines that had dumped fries into the cooling pan and it came out like a brick (ew!).
About 5 more minutes and NO ORDERS later, the gentleman next to me finally yelled at the manager (the only person there wearing something remotely nice.) and his order came right away. He told me, "If you want your order, speak up". I finally got my order after 20 minutes. They slid my low carb burger in a bowl across the counter to me, I quickly discarded the tray above the trash can and left as fast as I could.
I usually just go through the drive through if I was ordering a meal, but since I wanted just one Double Whopper with no buns, I thought it would be faster to order inside. Boy was I wrong, it took the incompetent employees 20 minutes to serve me one...
Read moreI am not a frequent patron of "BK" but do try 'em out on occasion. A friend of mine wanted to go there and I obliged... He had a bunch of 'standard' paper coupons which really didn't have anything enticing for me to take advantage of. I decided to try the BK app and saw a good deal for $3 off a $10 order - which had to be placed via a mobile order. A bit of a ha$$le but I went and did the deed as required per the coupon and went to get my order.
Much to my chagrin, there was no $3 discount on my order. I inquired about the oversight to the manager{?}and was told that it was out of their jurisdiction and nothing could be done on their level, which was 'backed up' by a second worker. No, I disagree... In the spirit of decent customer service, something could have been be done such as offering a token of compensation for the discrepancy, which never happened. I deliberately made my order over $10 in order to get the $3 discount via the app, which WAS done correctly on my end, but to no avail. Rather than just cancel the whole order, I begrudgingly took it as is. But this is something I won't tolerate again and will likely message BK directly about.
I am giving 2 stars only because the Fish Sandwich was decent - But the rest of the meal was...
Read moreTERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! Went through drive through and waited literally 22 min! Ordered a chocolate shake because my son didn't feel good.... got to the window and it was half melted because it was made too early. By the time we got to it, it wasn't a milk shake l, it was chocolate milk. I asked politely for a new one and the African American at the window snatched the one made out of my husband's hand and they made a new one but in the meantime we are watching her shake her head saying nasty stuff to the worker next to us. We just wanted an actual milk shake. We asked for a manager the heavy set woman said me and there's 3 of us on.. We asked for her or a name and she said there's no reason to give that to you... So now we call corporate and we have our receipt. So corporate will know the names of the people working tonight.... The lady that said that was heavy set, a little on the short side with green eyes! Sooooo if thats customer service in a nasty area as it is down the shore and these people are allowed to treat a paying a customer, then I'll never go back... I'll spend my money elsewhere.
