A pretty cool mini park that allows you to watch flights taking off and landing at SFO. Like others have commented. There is the smell of plane exhaust but I guess that's what you'll have no matter where you plane watch. Though if you were coming here for nature alone, I would recommend not coming here for the reason of the funes. There were plenty of people there plane watching with us and some were very friendly and wanted to talk about their excitement about plane watching. One downside is the lack of parking. They could perhaps purchase some extra parking from the Marriott as it looks to be the same lot, but it is divided between the park and the Marriott. There was always a wait for a spot. If you love watching planes, SFO Spotters is the place to be! It's one of the best locations to catch aircraft coming in and out of San Francisco International Airport. The views are fantastic, especially during sunset when you can see the planes land with the backdrop of the bay and the mountains in the distance. You can get really close to the action, making it perfect for photography or just soaking in the excitement of watching different types of aircraft up close.
Parking is convenient, and there are usually fellow aviation enthusiasts around, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Everyone is respectful, and there’s a sense of community here.
Whether you're a serious spotter or just curious about planes, this is a hidden gem near SFO. Highly recommend it for a fun, relaxing time! Parking:Paid Parking...
Read moreA place to take a walk and checkout the scenery. You can view the airplanes takeoff and land. The walkway is at least 8ft wide and at certain places a bench is available to sit on. I also saw a Starbucks in which you can get your fix And stay on the trails. Your walking along the bay so your gonna smell the ocean. I was there about 9am so parking was still available. 20 spaces are reserved for the park and thats all they have. It's located at the end of the Marriott hotel parking lot which you cannot park in. One thing I noticed is the amount of mousetrap they have on the trails. I didn't see any rodents at all. That is why I took one star off. Other than that it is a ok place to...
