I ordered a particular plate of pasta that had always included bell peppers and crushed peppers at no extra charge, and the last time I ate there 3 days ago, I was hit with an additional $3.89. Upon me questioning the waitress , she immediately sent her manager by the name of Jessica barging on to my table, very undiplomatic and unprofessional to told me that whether I like it or not I was forced to pay the extra $3.89 for the 5 cents worth bell peppers, and 2 cents worth of crushed peppers, three small strips of bell peppers, were added to my plate that day, something other Olive Gardens had never done, as I have the receipt to prove it., and receipts for all previous times I had gone there within the last 4 months on a weekly basis,, only show a charge of $1.89 for Bell Peppers alone. Not until the dictatorship of Managing Jessica came in to the picture, which manages the Moreno valley Olive Garden came barging to my table spoiling my evening ruining my dinner, implying that the financial hardship for Olive Garden required the additional $3.89 that had to be added to my bill of pasta, in order for the place to survive the same place that makes millions of dollars every month yet by the same token making a Big fuzz for three lousy strips of bell peppers. Jessica responded and I quote " I cannot imagine a supermarket giving away free Bell Peppers" I can't imagine Olive garden filing bankruptcy for giving out three tiny strips of bell peppers and an ounce of crush peppers. For that matter how hypocritical of Jessica, as I always ask for Olive oil, garlic salt, and lemons for my salad yet where is the charge for those three items? Where is the charge for the tomatoes on the salad? Can someone please find me the charges for bell peppers and Crushed peppers on the menu??? just as you will not find a charge for added tomatoes,, Olive oil, or Garlic salt, there is no place on the menu for charging three strips of Bell Peppers There are places that are less expensive to eat so don't waste your money at the olive garden. And I'm not crying over $3.89, the manager Jessica was the one crying for the three strips of Bell pepper that were not previously charged on the previous receipt I pulled out, she got very angry for me pulling it out as proof. I'm just relaying the experience I had late June 2021. Everyone do your family and yourself a favor the $100 to $200 your thinking of wasting at the olive garden, that will go down the toilet the next day on one sitting, take those hard earned dollars as groceries where a whole family of four will eat for more than a week. It cost Olive Garden Approx 50 Cents for a plate of pasta and then turn around and hits your pocket book with a 95% increase. Read moreWent to the Olive Garden restaurant #1266 at 22880 Centerpoint drive in Moreno Valley today. Worst service ever! Our waitress didn't seem to know what the heck she was doing. When we first sat down, My husband J had asked for a bottle of Principato Rosata which is a nice blush wine he enjoys. He was going to purchase the bottle and take it home as we have done in the past. He told the waitress that it's okay if they need to open the bottle. She couldn't answer any questions about thier policy and said she had to go look for a manager. She showed up after a very long wait, and finally brought our soup and salad. She said that she forgot the bread sticks and would be back. Just after she left, we noticed that there were no salad plates. So, we took the soup bowls off of their plates, and used the hot soup plates for our salads. She showed up again. This time with bread sticks and no cold salad plates. She said the manager was in a meeting. J asked for some paper napkins when she got a chance. She then disappeared for a long time and brought the paper napkins. She said the manager was coming to our table and left again. The salad had way too much dressing on it. It was swimming. By this time we noticed that she hadn't offered to refill the tea.... (Olive Garden has the best Iced tea). Its called Bellini tea. After we finished our food, we sat for what seemed like 15 minutes or more. We agreed that enough was enough, and actually had to hunt down somebody to ask for our bill. Someone went looking for our waitress, who finally showed up with the bill. J always gives a nice tip. Except when someone goes out of they're way to lose it. J asked if she was a new hire? She said she has been here for 5 years. J handed the waitress large bills because he didn't have change. The waitress actually asked him if he wanted the change. J said yes. Then told her that he left no tip because of a list of things done wrong. But, mainly because she never refilled the tea. She replyed, "Oh Well, have a nice holiday season ". There was no apology, and no ownership for the bad service she had provided. Plus, the Manager never showed up. J didn't even bother asking about the wine at that point. We have decided that we will never go to that Olive Garden location again. Wish we had gone to the Acapulco restaurant just down the street instead, like we originally started to. Just in case there is anyone in management at that location who actually does care, we were seated at table 14 on 11/25/17...
Read moreI was living in Richmond MO., I got a call tell me my daughter had been shot in her right chest by a shot gun and was in Moreno valley hospital. I got the next fight out to CA. It was bad, after 3 surgeries they had to go in for a fourth surgery because of infection, fever and how weak she was, they couldn't wait, they had to take her right lung. She was weak and we were scared, I asked her what she wanted, she said if this is my last meal I don't want it to be broth and jello. She said I probably won't eat much but can you get me my favorite meal. I said yes, I already knew what it was Olive Garden chicken fettuccine Alfredo with the salad and their breadsticks with extra parmesan cheese and extra sauce, the cheese they grade right at the table not the package stuff. So I left the hospital drive to Moreno valley Olive Garden trying to hide my tears and order food that could be my daughter's last meal. The hostess was so nice, caring when I broke down and started crying. I was sitting at the bar waiting for my order, starting on my second drink. When the young lady came with my food and said that the manager of Olive Garden and their employees wish the best for my daughter and her dinner was on them they even threw in a desert for her plus my drink. She only took three bites of bread, two bites of salad, five bites of the chicken fettuccine alfredo and two bites of her desert and they were small bites over the next 2 hours. But she said it was the best meals she every had, I would have to agree. After 6 hours of surgery I got to enjoy watching her take three or four bites of the chicken fettuccine alfredo everyday for a week. When she left the hospital 4 weeks later she had lost 45 pounds but was alive. I want to thank the manager of Olive Garden and their employees for caring and feeding my daughter for a week for free. Money was really tight for me at the time with gas prices so high in California compared to Missouri If it wasn't for Olive Garden caring and only charging me for my meal, I probably would not have been able to drive every day to the hospital to see my daughter. Thank you Olive Garden for having heart and caring. Olive Garden has always been my daughters and my favorite place to eat, we love the atmosphere we...
