The hotel was extremely dirty. Totally disgusting. From the moment we got out of the truck it was bad. Pavement uneven and extremely crumbling apart, missing and crumbling bricks around the entrance and pillars. Stucco stained and falling off outside. Lobby filthy with dirt and grime on plexiglass, counters and walls. Lobby restroom extremely filthy both women's and men's. Elevator had no inspect certificate and it's wall panels moved if you leaned on them and shook and bounced the entire travel distance and a strong hydroloc oil smell was present especially on ground floor. The FIRST room we got you could push the door open about an inch before the latch stopped it and you could see in. Was missing it's safely latch on inside. The bathroom door was locked from the inside and when we got manager to open it the entire door was separated and peeled open to see the inside, also only attached by top hinge. The room had many holes knocked on the walls the size of first and what looked like maybe a broom handle. The hard wired smoak detector was missing and the bare wires hanging out of the box, by the way, this is where the cockroach came out of and was running around on the ceiling. In the bathroom the floor tiles were broken, loose and sinking into a hole directly where you put your feet when sitting on the throne. Had to keep shoes on or cut your feet. The slider curtain only had two hooks, one on each end, and couldn't open. The phone had all it's rubber indicator buttons removed. The refrigerator had no shelves remaining in it so could only place limited things on the bottom. They're were marijuana stems in the nightstand drawer with the Bible. There were some big jagged pieces of metal sticking out from one side of each of the double beds about 2" wide and sticking out about 4" straight out just under the bed spread that was covering them at just above ankle height. Had to wrap them in towels to keep from gouging our legs. Stains, smears, smashed bugs and all kinds of splatter and runs of God only knows what on every wall, mirror, tub, toilet, sink and appliance in the room. Said they have continental breakfast every morning from 6to 9 when we checked in and there was nothing but three bowls with three kinds on granola bars that were stale and only coffee was from our own room that only had one cup a tea pod and two creamers. Just terrible all...
Read moreThis is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I travel across the country. I have never been so upset. First impression of the room was that it was hot and smelled terrible. I was in room 118. I turned on the air conditioning and didnt get back until 10 PM. When I arrived back to the room the room was still hot and I turned the air conditioning on hours ago so i knew that the air conditioning had to be broken but I was so exhausted that I just told my husband we would try to switch to a different room in the morning. I woke up and of course it was hot in the room but what appalled me was all of the other things I pulled the sheets back after only sleeping in them and there was something that looked like peanut butter smeared on the bed so I was super grossed out that I slept in it. Then I went to take a bath because I never get to take baths living in a camper the majority of the time but there was no stopper. Then I turn on the water to take a shower and the whole spout falls off. At this point I'm naked I turn around and there is no soap! I'm aggravated because now I'm naked with no soap so I'm forced to use shampoo but I have to use all of it so I have no shampoo to wash my hair. After my terrible shower I'm extremely mad and I get dressed and go to the front desk. He tells me the manager is out of town and that he is sorry but they will move me to another room and they will fully reimburse me for my stay. I still have yet to recieve a refund. They tell me to move to room 219 on the 2nd floor it is a business room and it is "nicer" and bigger. My first impression of the room was that it was nice. They sprayed some stuff and the room smelled good. We turned on the air conditioning and left again for the day. We came back around 8 or 9pm and the room smelled like sewage. The air conditioning leaked so bad that I couldn't even walk on that side of the bed and I was not about to be moved to another, potentially even worse, room. Also, the key card entrance on the sides were inoperable. My whole experience was terrible. I have stayed in Super 8 hotels the majority of the time and I'm sure that corporate would be extremely dissatisfied in this...
Read moreI've been in and out of town for family in the hospital. This place has been a godsend. The location is really convenient, the staff are friendly, I'm happy with the rooms I've gotten, and for me occasionally seeing a cute dog in the lobby is a big plus too.
The lightswitch controls the lamp closest to the door, which is a little weird to figure out if the last person turned it off at the lamp. There was no shortage of easy to reach outlets every lamp had two. No need to go moving tables to find them by the bed, sofa or desk which is really nice. The coffee machine is one of those little one cup disk brewers and room has a mini fridge and microwave.
The breakfast isn't much right now during covid, but there's coffee, yogurts and a variety of granolas that actually makes me feel more comfortable than other hotels I've stayed in that encouraged people to eat in the lobby; especially coming and going from the hospital.
There's everything right there that you could walk to in maybe 5 minutes at most: Dollar Tree, arts & crafts store, book store, Hallmark, Edible Arrangements, a bank, clothing store (literally anything I've wanted to bring while visiting the hospital was right there plus the gas station has beer for me after getting back from a stressful...
