Tipsy Teeze Bar, Grill and Music Hall — Restaurant in Morgantown

I've had a few mediocre experiences with this place trying to give it several chances, the Owner is nice but that only goes so far however here is a list of my bad experiences.

Saw a literal kid/child in the back handeling frozen french fries without any gloves, dont know how he got involved that day to help with cooking or if its a regular thing. Was during lunch time so not as busy.

Brought my dad from out of town and the bartender served him a flat draft beer (he was immediately never coming back) thats basic bar 101 to keep your kegs up to working condition and not have to choose 1 or 2 beers that are the only fresh Kegs available.

I brought my girlfriend who lives out of state, it took the females working there FOREVER to verify that her (Virginia I.D) was a valid I.D and that she was old enough to drink she is on the shorter side so maybe they assumed she was underage but we felt as if we were going to be denied service over it because of how long the process was taking.

All of the girls (bartenders) love to chat, be on their phones and not have a good work ethic, some of these girls who work there have worked at other local bars that I've been to and they perform better likely because whoever is in charge of them isnt as strict with them and they feel more "comfortable" at Tipsy Teeze so they dont have to try as hard. At least thats the impression I get.

For those reasons it makes it hard to justify spending my money there and to make a return. This has also made "The Draft" down the road my main go to spot because at least there they have consistency. Here its a...

Stopped in this evening for dinner. We were acknowledged immediately even though it's seat yourself. The food was so good. It was wing night and you are not getting tiny wings for 79 cents you are getting a descent sized wing. Tasteful, hot and that first crunch. The fried pickles were my absolute favorite, truly battered, seasoned and crunchy, even after sitting on the table for a few minutes they were crunchy. The fries were also good. Our server was amazing and the owners were actively making sure things were running smooth. I definitely recommend it for a family meal, out with friends or just a place to have a cold beer. Today was our second time trying, first experience was awesome, today not so much! Their cocktail menu consisted of only whiskey drinks, Jon Taffer would have a field day with that, but ordered a mojito and margaritas, they couldn’t make the mojito, no mint! Took 20 minutes to get our appetizer, and our entree came at the same time, and cheese sauce was Luke warm! Server had three two top tables, so she wasn’t busy. I asked for a second cocktail and it took almost 10 minutes! I get it this is a new place and they have kinks to work out, cocktail menu for one, how about offering more than whiskey!
