I typically don’t write negative reviews for medical facilities, but this one truly needs to hear the feedback—their customer service is awful.
I recently took my son to the Mountlake Terrace Clinic. During the visit, the doctor and medical team were friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. However, the issues began after the appointment.
When I was asked if I had access to MyChart for my son's records, I explained that I have trouble logging in. The doctor reassured me that I would only be contacted if there was something wrong, and that I would not receive a call if results were negative.
Fast forward to today: I received a call from the clinic regarding a negative result. While I was relieved that nothing was wrong, I was confused—why was I being contacted at all if the result was negative? During the call, the staff member asked how my son was doing, and I explained he still wasn’t well. She said they were still waiting on one more result, which again didn’t align with what I had been told.
I missed a follow-up call shortly after and called back immediately. I was placed on hold for 45 minutes. By the time someone answered, my anxiety had built up thinking something might be seriously wrong. But the person on the phone simply repeated the same information the doctor had already given me at the visit—no new or helpful information.
When I expressed how upsetting it was to be left on hold that long, worrying, the staff member transferred me to her manager, Josh Miniken. Unfortunately, he was shockingly rude and dismissive. He interrupted me repeatedly, insisted I was wrong, and claimed they “always call” with both good and bad results—which directly contradicted what the doctor told me. When I asked if the call was recorded because I wanted his supervisor to hear how I was being treated, he didn’t seem to care at all.
To be spoken to that way after sitting on hold for 45 minutes, worried sick about my child, was completely unacceptable. There was zero empathy, zero understanding, and absolutely no professionalism.
This was only my second visit to this clinic, and not by choice—it was simply the closest urgent care. If I had any other option, I would have taken it.
I strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere. The way they treat patients—especially concerned parents—is unkind, unprofessional, and deeply...
Read moreI found Dr. Sharon Daly after YEARS of medical gaslighting. I have an actual diagnosis of medical trauma (not physical but emotional) To say that Dr. Daly is an amazing doctor just doesn't seem to cut it. Dr. Sharon Daly gave me my will and the tools to continue to fight multiple serious health issues. Many chronic some acute.
I was pretty much bedridden at 60 years old. As a former crisis responder I had become a shell of the person I once was. Most days I was suffering and not getting the answers to WHY my body was failing me.
Dr Daly helped me to find those reasons and she helped me to address them in a way that allowed me to get out of bed and on my good days, I can bake a cake, I can shoot some photos, some days, I can actually drive to the store instead of having delivery. The biggest thing is that I will be able to attend my daughters wedding.
All because this wonderful doctor didn't see me as a patient number. SO many doctors are absolutely burned out and it shows. Dr. Daly really does care. I felt seen and heard. The proper bloodwork was done and she was able to get imaging approved that my previous primary couldn't be bothered with. This used to be how most doctors treated their patients until they didn't.
So, if you are finding yourself in a vicious cycle of being dismissed or a victim of gaslighting. Give this doctor a call.
She was my saving grace.
She might be yours too.
The front desk is always welcoming and her staff is very prompt with getting you in if you need to be seen sooner vs always being sent to emergency rooms like many doctors who are overbooked and...
