Gyro STAR — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

So my son and I went in to gyro star for the first time. I was a little skeptical I never had this kind of food before and my son has been wanting to try this place because he's heard good things about it. So I wanted my first gyro plate with the cucumber sauce or dressing whichever you want to call it. The guys that work there are friendly and they give you a ton of food for what you pay for it. That one meal will equal almost three meals for me. The rice was good but the gyro and the cucumber sauce was fantastic yum yum I am so glad I went there. They give you a little salad with the cucumber sauce or dressing which was really good too. And the pita bread was good too I made little sandwiches as I was eating. This is a must go and for me the price was worth it since of several meals for me. Almost feel proud of myself for finally trying Greek food. It feels good to support a local business two instead of one of those big chain restaurants and knowing this food is made fresh and is really good it's definitely worth it. Family run who wants to make you happy, satisfied and to be a repeat customer. The cucumber dressing is the bomb.. So glad they are so close by I could even walk if I wanted to. Their love of food abs what they do proves in their food...

I love their food and most importantly their attitude. The guy who was cashing me out was dealing with some difficult customers. They were just being really weird the one lady said she wanted a number one combo and she was saying that it was chicken and he told her it’s lamb. She got mad at him and was like what the hell is your problem why isn’t it chicken why is it number one a chicken and he’s like because it’s lamb. I watched the whole interaction and he was so kind towards her even though she was being a total jerk. Like what doesn’t she understand? that’s what a gyro is, it’s lamb lol. But I really love the way he handled it. He has a beautiful smile too. May God bless these people. I wouldn’t have been able to...

You have to eat there and you will be delicious full. The gyro plate is stacked incredibly high as the sandwich..the Philly cheese as good as downtown south Philly...salads are generous chicken sandwich awesome..hamburgers taste so good..seriously better than any other American burger we think BUT one thing on this choice.. Too darn SMALl they don't even cover the bun !!!!! We all remarked on its size. The staff are super friendly quick and very accommodating. They are busy..busy..busy. Miraculously accurate in to go orders and go services. Offer desserts baclavah and cheesecake..oh but chocolate something would be nice and maybe some coffee drinks maybe that'll be coming? Overall your pallet will be happy! So...
