My girlfriend and I recently stayed here for a long weekend. It was our first time in Nashville. ---PROS: -The atmosphere was wonderful downstairs with nice decor and three rooms to lounge in. -There was live music and a bar in the hotel. -We were offered a complimentary drink when we got there which was nice. The staff was friendly and young. -The Captain Suite bed was very comfortable and the bathtub was lovely. Bonus skylight in the room made for a fun night time atmosphere. -The neighborhood was quiet and the attached Public House was a nice vibe as well. Great restaurant in Lockeland Table across the street. ---CONS: -THE BREAKFAST! My girlfriend booked this trip specifically for the breakfast portion and we found out that they do not have a kitchen at the hotel and breakfast was basically biscuits, muffins, fruit, and coffee. -The price - I'm sure the Captain Suite is one of the nicer rooms there but in the end it felt a bit overpriced. Nice atmosphere, but not a 5 star service by any means. -The bar is expensive and didn't have the best of hours (seemed like a lack of staff at some points). -The captain suite didn't have much space to store belongings, space to get ready, not many places to sit, etc.
Overall we had some wonderful memories staying here and some meh memories. If you are looking for a different, small, quiet, boutique experience then this place is for you. If you want a good breakfast, do...
Read moreWe had our wedding at Urban Cowboy, and wow and what an unforgettable experience. From the stunning property to the incredible staff, everything exceeded our expectations. Everyone working that night went above and beyond to make us, our friends, and our family feel welcome. The team was not only professional but genuinely kind and accommodating. It truly felt like they were part of our special day. Even when they didn’t have to help, they did, with smiles and that made all the difference. Each bartender greeted us like old friends, and Kaye absolutely knocked it out of the park. Jessie, Kaye, and every single person behind the bar made the night feel personal and memorable. There’s a reason Urban Cowboy is one of my favorite places in Nashville. Whether you’re planning a private event like a wedding, staying in one of their sick rooms, or just stopping by for a drink, GO! Whether you're a local or just passing through, you'll be treated like family. 10/10—can’t...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed at the Urban Cowboy in Nashville this past week for two nights and we loved it! The clawfoot tub was super comfortable (I want one now if I ever buy a house) and the bed was very comfortable, too. Now that I've been home sleeping in my own bed, I honestly miss the bed we slept in at the hotel. Overall, the ambience of the lobby, hallways, and our room was very cozy and unique. The outside of the hotel was very cute and welcoming. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to try Roberta's pizza during our stay as we had a show each night of our stay. And we did not get a chance to drink at the bar, both due to the shows and since I am currently pregnant. Hoping to return again for another stay sometime and to indulge in both! Finally, I personally really liked the text-based communication! It made it easy to ask questions if needed and felt really easy to get ahold of...
