Terrible experience. I stopped in looking for a souvenir and found a cute ring, which I asked the man at the counter (likely the owner) to set aside so there’d be no confusion. While browsing, I asked about some earrings since I’m allergic to costume jewelry. He didn’t know and had to look it up, which was fine. When I wrote down the brand name to research later (since I’m from Vegas), he suddenly told me it was “rude” to do that in a small business - even though he’d already shared the name. I apologized, but the interaction left me feeling embarrassed.

I decided not to buy the ring, returned it to its display, and left. Later, my sister told me he even asked if I’d “walked out with the ring.” She had to clarify that I’d returned it.

This is one of my favorite places to shop in Nashville - in person and online. Tanya, the owner has a wonderful array of clothes, accessories and home goods from vintage to local artisans. All are reasonably priced and unique. I have purchased vintage boots, jewelry, clothing and accessories from this shop over the years and have loved every purchase! Tanya clearly puts her heart and soul into her store and I am happy to support her and the artisans and vendors she represents. If you are local, go check out this gem! A very limited selection of cowboy boots, though the ones they have are okay. More than anything, the person working there is rude and unhelpful. The whole time I was there she was arranging some sort of floral decoration, made absolutely no eye contact and seemed super put out when I asked if they had my size in boots. If you like the look of anything on the website call first to see if they have it in stock still because the selection is extremely small.
