Our choice to check this place out was based on the rec of the bartender at Attaboy. We had said we were looking for someplace that served high quality and interesting dishes, was farm to table, yet still casual. This place delivered. There was a small plate, tapas style menu that we grabbed when when we entered. After going through all the options, I headed to bar and placed my order. I think we ordered about 5 or 6 small plates. Everything was packed with flavor and plenty enough to split. We had a greens salad with shaved parmesan, some warm grilled olives, a stew of some sort and something cheesy with grilled bread in a small cast iron skillet and a few other tasty bites. I've had this on my places to visit and I'm so happy we went last night. The building is gorgeous. The bar wrapped around the outside of the building starting with a hidden garden feeling and we ended up in the inside/outside covered area with the absolute coolest decor. It was southwest meets cozy. The entire design of this place is great! The bar tenders are very kind and consistent. It was a decently busy Saturday night and they seemed to enjoy their job which is refreshing in Nashville. Kudos to all the staff. The bar/food line gets long but it moves pretty quick.
