I mistakenly booked this hotel for our 25th anniversary staycation, and it turned out to be a huge disappointment. From start to finish, the experience was frustrating for what was supposed to be a special occasion. Before arriving, I had asked about paying for parking because the process was very unclear. The hotel responded that they would send a payment link, but I never received it, even after requesting it be emailed since I was leaving my computer behind. Upon arrival, we encountered issues with the keypad to our room. The keypad screen was black and only lit up when touched, but unfortunately, that first touch counted as a number entry. This made it incredibly easy to accidentally enter the wrong code, causing it to blink red and lock us out for several minutes before we could try again. The numbers were extremely sensitive, making the process even more frustrating. After six attempts and 30 minutes of agitation, we finally managed to unlock the door. This delay left us with barely any time to get ready for our dinner reservation. During this time, I tried contacting the hotel for assistance using the “Contact Us” link from a confirmation email. It provided a “text anytime” number and a separate phone number. Despite texting several times and calling twice (leaving a voicemail one time), I received no response. To make matters worse, the voicemail stated that messages left after 4:30 PM might not be returned until the next day, even though the listed contact hours were from 9 AM to 8 PM. I went to the bar, and their information binder had the same useless contact information. So the hotel left us without help when we needed it most. After dinner, we returned to discover the heat in our room was not working. Despite my previous texts being ignored, I tried texting again with no response. We were forced to sleep without heat in a room with concrete floors. The next morning, I received an automated checkout text asking me to rate my stay. Only after giving it a 1 did the property manager finally reply—using a different phone number. The manager, who never shared their name, claimed they hadn’t received my voicemail or texts, eventually admitting that they had recently changed their booking platform but forgot to update all of the contact information. They also acknowledged that the text number was incorrect, while the voice phone number was current. But somehow the manager never received a voice mail. I seriously doubt she checked it, because it was after 4:30. Rather than taking accountability for these MAJOR oversights, the manager tried to shift the blame onto me for not being able to discern current and outdated information on their emails. The manager said I should have used the parking inquiry link, which I had received via desktop back at home. At no point did they address the heater not working or offer any form of discount or refund. All I got was just a very hollow apology and a promise to update their contact info in their new booking system. This place felt more like a poorly managed Airbnb run by an anonymous and inaccesible host, who lacks basic customer service and management skills. I strongly advise against staying here—save your money and your special occasion by booking somewhere that values its guests, and has accessible and professional manager with a name.

Hotel is not staffed at all times - and it's hard to actually talk to anyone on the phone. We checked in, and the room smelled very musty and felt damp. So much so that one of the beds and the toilet paper was moist to the touch. Once again - couldn't even call anyone. Then somewhere around 8:30/9 AM they were running a power washer, and the compresser unit was right outside our window. The location is decent, but it is not worth it.

I stayed in room 102 and the shower is unusable. I'm not tall by any stretch, but the tiny shower head didn't even reach the top of my head. The water pressure is weak and there's no seal on the bottom of the shower door so water leaks all over the room. I tried to call the hotel manager and got no response. For a "boutique" hotel, I would expect more than a crappy plastic shower head with barely 5 ft of clearance.

Booked this hotel with booking com , I read all the reviews and they were good, but what no one tells you is that you have to retrieve a code via booking .com to get in ,we arrived at the hotel after driving 6 hours from hot springs ,we thought that we were at the wrong hotel the area is run down and a bit unsavoury, my wife went in to the hotel to check are reservation, she came out and said it was the correct hotel I said let’s leave ,but we were tired so decided to stay ,I went in to what would be the lobby ITS A BAR. Yes your walking into a bar the rooms are on top,we had no service on are phones and had to retrieve the code to get in, the entrance to the rooms are what I can only describe as a prison gate separating the rooms from the bar, anyway we got on to there WiFi to get code from booking .com to get in. Booking .com didn’t send us any code, we asked the bar man if he could help in any way he wasn’t interested, but said he would give us the number for the manager if we wanted to call him, he couldn’t be bothered to give him a call for us by this time after all the travelling we decided to leave , 20 minutes down the road we found a proper hotel the Cambrian nice hotel. But we had problem with the air conditioning, same money nice area We are not booking with booking .com any more for trying to save 20-30 pounds or dollars it’s not worth it I have lost £150 pounds for that hotel as I can’t get a refund from the hotel nor booking .com for no fault of are own , we now do street view by google and check all the reviews if your thinking of this hotel please check other hotels close to it you...

The rooms are beautiful but if you want a good night sleep, this is not the place for you. 100 feet away is a club that had metal bands till 2 am on a Thursday eve. the room is above a bar. We didn't get to bed until the music stopped and then we had to get up to be out before 11. You can't complain because there is no onsite manager. It looks like a real hotel on their website but When we got to the place we walked through the bar ( called reunion) to get to our room which was connected. I asked a question and the bartender snapped back that she has no info about our room because the bar is not connected and that the rooms are a separate business. I got the impression from the bar staff that this is not a well liked entity. This morning when I texted the woman from the "hotel" about checking out I told her about the loud music our lack of sleep and that they need to have a disclaimer on their website about the noise bleed. I basically paid for a hotel night to not sleep. she said that "our team" at the bar is instructed to turn off the music at midnight and apologized but the bar is not part of her business and she seems to be unaware that the space was in the middle of a district of live venues. ( Which I just booked the room on an app and had no idea that this was the case- If I was informed I would have booked else where. If you are coming to town to party with your friends I guess these rooms are fine, super clean. spacious and nice decor. but otherwise...
