Store #0949 12/31/24 It’s New Years Eve. - The Update: Employee Keith Allen found the wall cabinet I was seeking. This is the 2nd cabinet I have bought through Mr. Allen. By the way, April! She was great in assisting me. Nice and willing to help. Thank you to Home Depot in being so mindful, in hiring, knowledgeable, good people. Mr. Allen is a Mortgage Broker and does this too, Home Depot. Obviously, he enjoys it - working for a great company as Home Depot is. The reasons are many, but your hiring skills are a big part of it. Thank you. Christine K. Store#0949 12/7/24 Update: Home Depot Rep., Keith Allen - There he goes again! Your 5* star employee, Keith, found the products I was looking for. I'm having a Christmas tree delivered, bulbs and more. If it wasn't for him, because of my full day at work, my list would have waited. Thank you again, Home Depot for being so mindful of a wonderful employment that I believe is going places with your company. He should Christine K. from NJ. 8/18/24 UPDATE: Again today. I could not make it to the Neptune store. HD Rep., Keith Allen came to the rescue, again. I was seeking a cabinet. He found it. Perfect measurements. I signed up upon his suggestion to Home Depot ID. The purchased the Cabinet. I purchased an Emergency Fire Ladder, and Trim for the Garage needing repair from him 8 or 9 days ago, and more supplies. His knowledge makes me comfortable to order over the phone. Thank you again. Today, Debbie, took my info. She was patient and just plain nice. Thank you Keith and Debbie. Keith Allen! Wowwwww. If it was not for him, I would never have resolved the Power washer issue this early evening. I have a Real Estate business office building parking lot, with all my good friends/Contractors helping. Keith, over the phone: was patient, informative, smart, just nice, a gentleman, respectful and welcoming on questions. I provided the Power Washer info. and stated we needed a new power washer hose. I drove there before Closing (8PM), and there he was. Waiting, as he said. I didn't buy 1, I bought 2. He measured everything to be sure all was a good fit. Home Depot should be proud to have an Employee, whose smart, in shape physically, informative and just plain sincere. April on the phone, was just a thoughtful receptionist who listened, and transferred me to the right person. Thank you April. Thank you so much to the Home Depot Executives and Management for being so mindful of your hiring. Christine K.
Ron in Electric: Is a keeper - a great person, obviously. Congratulations to your Management and Executive offices at Home Depot. He is not only smart and knowledgeable - he is just plain nice. He truly exceeded my expectations. ...isn't it nice to just meet somebody who is willing to help you and is just nice about it...? Precisely my thought. He pointed me in the right direction but then helped. You should be proud to have such a great person in your employment. ...
Read moreI Always go out of my way to go to a different Home Depot even though it’s a little farther From home. I feel that some of the people that work here don’t want to work by thier actions and body language. Home Depot should make it a priority to hire some people that actually want to work. maybe go to Chick-fil-A and check out thier attitude / customer service. see if any of those kids want a job there because they may not know anything about home-improvement but I haven’t found anybody at Home Depot who knows much or willing to help w home-improvement either. Typically I can barely find anybody to tell you where something is in that store. it’s ridiculous when you go to a register and you cannot check out at it when there is two able willing employees there but they direct you to another register when there is an open one right in front of me. If they want to continue to hire people like this then I will continue myself going to another store. Bricktown store is much better And people there are much more helpful and when they check you out they actually talk to you and smile and say thank you. I’m not saying everyone in the Neptune store is no good but I particularly do not care for the garden department here. I don’t leave reviews on places n people because I don’t think it’s very good for stores and all who work there are not bad because of a few that represent. but I have called the store manager after my last experience there and they can do with it what they want which is probably nothing.....what do I get out of any of this Home Depot? A better experience?? I will never go back there again I hope the store closes and you move it to a better location where people may want to work and want to help people or is it you pay lousy wages and treat your Neptune employees like garbage and so it’s passed to the customer? Which is it HOME DEPOT????? WELL!!! WE’RE...
Read moreThis store is HORRIBLE. Thank god I am local to a good Home Depot (Hazlet) because if Neptune was my local HD, I would be shopping at Lowe's and I hate Lowe's lol. I will start by saying one store worker helped me find my item immediately and he deserves absolute credit for his knowledge and assistance. The checkout process was what was atrocious. It appeared as though only self checkout was open so though it is not my preference I went to self check out. I was able to scan 1 out of 8 items before the scanner broke. As I am having issues I turn around and see 2 employees, one helping a guest at another non- functioning machine and the other moseying around. I request help and the other employee disappears. In the distance I see 3 female employees talking near the regular registers so I go over to them thinking one of them must be working the register but no, that would make too much sense. They tell me only self check out is open and continue the conversation. As I am informing them the machines are not functioning you hear in the background the automated self check out machine saying something along the lines of "assistance requested. Someone will be there to help you" but that doesn't matter they said someone is over there working. Yes there was one poor lady working by herself trying to help 4 customers at 4 malfunctioning machines. Out of 5 nearby associates, only 1 was actually working and helping. The gun had died at my machine hence why it stopped working. I am not sure how they operate this way and why they employ so many when only a very few work. Needless, to say I will never retrun to this store. I only gave two stars because of the gentleman's assistance who helped me find my item was quick...
