Subway — Restaurant in Neptune Township

I'm not going to sugarcoat it: this is the worst subway I've been to. I've stopped multiple times over the past few years when I was out running errands and needed a quick lunch, and every experience was frustrating. At this point I would rather drive out of my way to go somewhere else, even if it would be convenient to eat here when I'm already at Walmart. I'm adding a star because whenever I've been there it seemed like everything was clean and the food was very fresh. But somehow every time I'm there, they employees are working at a snail's pace. I thought the first time maybe it was an off night or just one employee who doesn't typically work the line. But getting sandwiches made for me, my husband, and daughter, should not take 10 minutes. if I could give 0 stars I would. This place is disgusting. Dishes piled up by the trash, fruit flies coming out of the soda machine like crazy, tables are never clean, the management and employees are not quick, rude and very cheap. i’m not sure what the protocol is about serving sizes but 2 pieces of cheese and 3 pieces of meat is not a sub. And then when you ask for more they charge for extra. i’ve never experienced this at any other subway that i’ve been to. The prices have skyrocketed to $15 for a half sub with a bag of chips and a drink. They got rid of the hot dog deal and a personal pizza is over $10. I can’t believe these people are allowed to serve food here. And looking back at reviews from years ago it looks like things never changed. Do better. I hope nobody...

The owner is the absolute cheapest human I have ever met in my life, he was making a sandwich for my daughter and the amount of cheese he used was almost like he was counting every strand of cheese. I asked for a little bit more cheese and he said that that would be extra cheese because it was very costly when the initial amount of cheese he gave me was barely covering the ham. I will never give this man my money again. What an absolute embarrassment of a human. I don't understand how you could possibly be so cheap.. it's just cheese!
