THE BEST Latin restaurant in the Bronx!
I’ve been eating at this establishment for decades- and the food is absolutely phenomenal! Fresh ingredients, deliciously flavorful and fast service! The servings are large and you get a lot for your money’s worth. Hands down the best in the area! 👏🏼
The natural juices are AMAZING! 🍍🥥 😋 (If you order without ice, you’ll get more… and the juice will remain super concentrated!)
The male workers and cooks are very professional and kind. Willing to accommodate your requests.
But there is a female worker (who wears glasses) that is very rude and unprofessional. We were eating in, and she made us wait over 10 minutes to take our order. There was no one else eating in at the moment. When we asked what was taking so long, she commented that she was taking care of “real customers”- meaning customers ordering to take out. Seriously?!?!
We were eventually serviced by a male worker who recognized her lack of proper etiquette- and apologized.

Ordered at 7:43pm then called again at 8:33pm they put my mom on hold for 20 mins then called again they put kept putting her in hold. She got frustrated told them to stop putting her on hold a woman hanged up. The thing is we never had a problem with j&j but they were very rude to my mother and the food never came as promised until I had to tell them to cancel already dealing with them for 2 hrs crazy. Their excuse was they were so busy and what they had told my mother the timing was not as promised now. We started off with blood sausage,alcapurria and bacalaito.the blood sausage was good the alcapurria was dry meat taste old and well if u want to eat a shoe sole try the fritter which i told waitress u could not eat and she replied she was gonna tell me but wanted me to decied for myself,,i would never serve something i know a customer isnt gonna be able to eat bc its dry and hard a rock,,which she didnt charge us for.. ordered pernil w white rice pink beans ,tostones,avocado...i asked for black beans which was then brought out bc she forgot,,The beans had no flavor and the pernil was way overcooked and dry such a bad flavor ..i hv to say atleast tostones were good.
