I never such bad experiences with any other Marriott hotel. This is a shame for Marriott. I think it mostly because of people who running it. First, $50 for Valet parking? Most importantly, they kind put you in the spot by saying it’s not safe to park on the street. This kind information should on details so people make decisions prior booking the hotel specifically it non-refundable. Or if the street is so bad Marriott should never build or be associated with such hotel or build your own parking space for your customers and increase the prices per night. We trust Marriott with that kind of decision. Secondly, flies all over the breakfast area. When I mentioned it to the attendant, reply was “oh it’s coming from the other room”. Like that should justify flies being present. They are always out with espresso tablet every day I was there. I mean you are selling that breakfast for $22 per person. You should have whatever you are selling. And answer always “oh we don’t have it today”. Thirdly, front desk had some terrible employees who refused to treat the customer with respect. One night I called front desk asking if they have milk (for my 10 months old baby) in their Market place. And the person said “yes”. So came down and discovered that they don’t sell milk there. And when I told them someone gave me this misleading information and they should not have . They both denied being that person and accused me of being rude to other person they were talking to. They certainly don’t have simple and very basic knowledge of customer service that “Customer is always right” even though they could which in this case I am not. Let me tell you what they should have said instead (even though they want to lie about) - “sorry sir we don’t know who gave this misinformation. but what can we do it make it right for you.” That would be more than enough. But they don’t know any better. And it’s managements fault to hire such people. Never going to this location again. Will not recommend anyone to...
Read moreThe most horrible service I ever got in 10 years.
Despite being platinum member for 7 years without any discounts I used a friends and family discount for the 2nd time and got absolutely inappropriate treatment from the manager at the check out who not only refused to accept the form by email, but after I agreed to print it and asked him to stop repeating same thing ever and over he kept being rude, highlighted for me on the paper what I should do, acted like he is my parent, despite I am a mature women, and after I told him again to stop repeating for the 4th time what is already done he threatened to cancel my reservation at the hotel. What I wish I actually did as following that
When I ordered a food delivery I never received it as apparently noone read my notes to let delivery up, what is ok, but they've accepted my order without the details, without calling me and when I called they said they'll deliver it, after 20 min they called that they can't deliver it and couldn't find it and finally team member "jesaya or something similar" dropped the phone on me. When I called back he forwarded me to another team member who at first said opposite things, then avoid giving the naim of his colleague even though he heard the conversation and overall, I truly think this hotel had the very worst experience in years, while I haven't even slept here yet.
While I only come back to Marriott because of the memories of my past experiences I truly don't see any value in i anymore and would rather stay with Hilton chain in the future as I've been between both, over this year and I see no more value to come back to Marriot.

Read moreThe hotel itself was fine. Convenient location and service staff were very nice. But when I checked in, I had a problem with my bed linens. There was a flat sheet ON TOP of the comforter. OK, I thought that maybe the comforter was clean. When I got into bed (with nothing between my comforter and my body), there was dried blood on the inside of my comforter (the part touching me). I first thought it was washed and the blood stain didn't come out. It wouldn't have been ideal but I could have lived with it. Oh no, the BLOOD FLAKED OFF when I scratched it with my fingernail. Such a huge mistake in housekeeping!||||1. If there's blood on the comforter, it must be washed.||2. You need to put a flat sheet UNDERNEATH the comforter. There was only one sheet underneath the comforter - the one that separates you from the mattress. What is this nonsense about putting a flat sheet on top of the comforter, especially a dirty one with dried blood on it?!?!?!|||I called downstairs (it was close to midnight) to explain the issue and asked for new sheets and a blanket. It took over 1/2 hour for it to get delivered because the front desk sent housekeeping to the incorrect room. I called 1/2 hour later as I was exhausted (especially from being on East coast time) to see what had happened. I was happy to smell laundry detergent on the blanket (it was a fleece blanket). ||I wish I took a picture of the comforter but I didn't as I was so traumatized by all of this. I'm so disgusted from this experience that I will never use a comforter again when I travel, only a supposedly clean sheet. I'll turn up the heat so I'm...
