I agreed completely, the city lack of accountability same as SF. Police are afraid of the criminals. CRIMlNALS are taking over both SF & Oakland. 911 calls went unanswered. I have never live in any city that 911 don’t answer emergency calls. They will have you go through voicemails to dial certain call to Oakland police. The police here are as coward as the UVALDE POLICE Department in Texas. Criminals & homeless took over the city. DON’T MOVE TO OAKLAND OR SAN FRANCISCO!!! The doom and gloom reviewers must be from out of town. Like all cities none of them are perfect and none of them should be reviewed as corrupt, crime riddled . If you traveled to the wrong part of town then you weren't paying attention to your surroundings. Oakland is not a crime infested city ran by corrupt politicians . How can you say that you don't know how Oakland handles their business. Oakland have issues like most large cities in the country. I don't get how people keep voting for the Mayor, City Council members, and School Board when crime is through the roof, car break-ins are a terrifying experience, and people don't even feel safe.
