I am utterly shocked and disappointed by the experience my friends and I had at this hotel. We had booked three rooms for ourselves and two other families traveling with us, expecting a smooth and relaxing stay. Instead, what we encountered was nothing short of a nightmare. To begin with, one of the rooms was not ready at 4:30 PM, which is already an hour and a half past the check-in time. We received a call at 5:30 PM saying the room was finally available, but by then, we were already on an excursion and couldn't return to the hotel. My friend was only able to check in after 10:30 PM—an exhausting end to a long day of travel from Miami. Upon our arrival, we were horrified to discover that the hotel was infested with roaches. They were everywhere—absolutely everywhere—in the rooms, hallways, even the bedding. The rooms were filthy, with stained linens, broken duvets, and an overall lack of cleanliness. I took pictures and videos of the hotel's disgraceful condition to document this. The front desk staff, particularly a lady named Patricia, was extremely rude and dismissive when we requested assistance. Not only did she offer no help, but she also made checking out and getting a refund unnecessarily difficult. Two of the families traveling with us were able to book alternative accommodations, but only at a much higher rate, leaving us scrambling for a solution. To make matters worse, when I contacted Expedia for help, I was told there was nothing they could do and that I had to find a new hotel on my own—completely unacceptable. We had five young children with us who were exhausted and forced to stay awake while we frantically searched for a place to stay. It was heartbreaking to see my kids sleeping in the car and my husband worn out after driving late into the night. Given that it was Labor Day weekend and there was a major football event in the area, nearly every hotel we contacted was fully booked. After being rejected by four hotels, we finally found a place that made an exception and allowed us to stay with our pet, even though their policy doesn't normally permit pets. This act of kindness came at a significant cost, as we had to pay double the original rate—and the same applied to the other families with us. Adding to the frustration, we had been misled by incorrect information on Expedia’s website, which stated that this hotel offered breakfast. The hotel later confirmed that they do not, and I even have an email from Expedia confirming breakfast was included. This misleading information played a significant role in our decision to book here, making this entire situation even more infuriating. Given the magnitude of the issues we faced—filthy, roach-infested rooms, unprofessional staff, misleading booking details, and the significant financial burden of finding alternate accommodations—I demand a response from both the hotel and Expedia management. I expect proper compensation for the distress, inconvenience, and additional costs incurred during what was supposed to be a memorable trip with family and friends. This experience has been nothing short of traumatic, and I sincerely hope neither I nor anyone else has to endure such an ordeal...
Read moreAs we arrived. The outside had trash around the property, people were sitting and walking around kinda makes you nervous to park your car. We went inside we had to call down for someone to check us in at 10pm. The lady who checked us in really should not be in customer service we didn’t get a hello, a smile, or even an enjoy your stay when she gave us our keys. We went to our room which was on the first floor. Heading to a room we noticed a lot of fans on the floor which told me they had a flood of some short we entered our room omg 😳 the room was so strong of mold and cat pee. That’s even with the ac running. After few min in the room debating with my husband his head started hurting I immediately knew why. I went back to the front asked the lady if we could have a new key. She didn’t apologize or say anything, she grabbed the keys went to the desk gave us another room and handed the keys. I apologised I felt bad for having to ask nothing from her not even it’s a ok she just handed my keys and shut the metal window to lock the office back up. The ac is shut off in the hall ways I’m thinking it might be to help dry the water but I’m pretty sure that will cause moister issues but I’m no pro. We went to our new room it smelled like a man who hasn’t showered in days but diff more tolerant than cat pee. The sheets had stains on them you can tell they were washed but I suggest getting new bedding. I’m in the construction field my parents are painters and also do mold restoration in home and commercial buildings so I can tell you for a fact that their building has a lot of moister issues which I can tell by the metal rusting on electrical boxes and bathroom faucets and the rusting of the outside of fridge the building might have mold build up. Along with that they need walls painted and painted correctly there’s a spot that was painted where it seems a hole was they patched it didn’t sand the wall just threw paint over it. They need a ground man or someone to take care of the trash issue looks very trashy no pun intended. Also might wanna turn ac on the elevators it got really hot and that maybe a issue in closing someone in a small space with little oxygen. The pros are the ac blew ice cold that was a plus we love to sleep in a cold room and it was on when we entered the room that was nice that we didn’t have to cool the room. It was fairly quiet didn’t hear much from the neighboring rooms which was surprising from all the...
Read moreThe entire place is dirty. I tried to think I was being too picky, but what I noticed was a lot of dis-placed people live here & even though we were in a non smoking room it smelled like smoke in the entire facility & especially on our floor... We pulled out the a/c filters & OMG!! They were disgusting, so we took them to show the front desk & she took them LIGHTLY dusted them off & handed them back & said here you go...they're clean! I didn't /couldn't even argue with her.. I let that go, then I took a shower for it to be a non smoking floor & room there were burns all over the sink & the plug in had caught on fire previously... There were at least 5 hairs that were clearly not mine & that was gross... You could tell because I I clean as well for a living you can tell that it was just a lack of caring when it came to cleaning the shower could have been perfectly fine had someone taking their time and actually wash and rinse the walls but there were literally five years that belong to another person in the shower with me it was gross then I went to sleep the bed was fine even though there's it's not a normal bet it just has a black frame almost like a futon it has metal corners we're completely dirty with toenails and whatever else you can think of otherwise I slept okay the bed linens were clean but when I woke up there was a roach crawling across the for that was it for me!! Ican handle a lot, but it 2as simply lack of care to how the entire place looked. The floors throughout were dirty & needed to be mopped! The walls are dirty walking inside & all the way up to the 2nd floor where I stayed. The smell was bad when we got off the elevator onto the 2nd floor. I realized though that people were cooking as we did get the room with a fridge & stove even though we decided not to use it. But it was a lot of cigarette smell & I smoke, but I don't smoke in my house, so I don't stay in rooms that people smoke in usually... Needless to say it was NOT WORTH THE 105.00 it cost us & we will not...
