KFC — Restaurant in Ocala

Only positive: the premade, prepackaged cookie was fantastic!! To start, everything was cold. Took a big bite of my pot pie and nearly choked on a massive chicken bone. Made it super difficult to stomach the potpie after that. The "gravy" in it was extremely runny, and a weird texture. The top pastry was raw in the middle. The biscuits were dry. The Mac and cheese was burnt and tasted like butter. The hot chicken tenders were extremely over cooked and so hard to chew that my husband couldn't eat it. They also put so much hot sauce in the container that it spilled EVERYWHERE, and it was super greasy. Pickles for garnish were limp and kind of gooey. Mashed potatoes made a mess when they force shut the lid, making that leak out. Also had two mountain dews and they were both very chemical tasting, and overloaded with soda water, lacking the actual flavor, and on the warm side. The workers were all high or on other drugs. Barely able to hear them. They couldn't even hear us speaking. They were not friendly at all. Told us it would be a wait then handed us our food and just stood there, not sure what was happening until I seen the whole order was in the bag, and we just drove off. The building and lot/drive ways are NOT functional in the slightest, you'd be stuck if the line backed up at all. And if you have a big vehicle, don't even attempt it. Overall, I'll probably wait a few months and try one more time, but this is the worst food and service I've had...

I love KFC and food- but today, I really didn’t appreciate the service that was provided today. I used to work in the food/restaurant industry and TRUST i know on certain days it can be busy. I guess this was the case at your location. I seen the Drive thru was packed after getting my order so I wasn’t expecting to get out of there in 2 seconds.. but when I realized my order was incorrect, I waited in the parking lot, and stood inside hoping someone would ask “hey was there a question you had..” or just at least something, like “how can I help you” I stood inside at the counter waiting 15 minutes just to ask an employee for my correct meal, that I purchased. Instead I was ignored, and stood standing there waiting for someone to come to the register and help me out, and eventually I took the hint, that since they were overloaded and busy they weren’t going to help me out. This isn’t a “I hate this place” type of review - I just feel like as a company during these Busy hours, you should at least try and help the customers out. I didn’t receive my receipt, I paid cash- I ordered Mac n cheese, 2 biscuits, Bucket of chicken, and a L- drink.. i ended up getting mash potatoes, 4 biscuits- soggy 8 piece chicken, and no drink without my receipt… so hopefully things get better with your customer service, but I will definitely be sticking to other fast food...

This location has to have the rudest staff!!!!! Half the time that you go here, nothing is in stock. And there is no reason that I should not be able to get a twelve piece meal with the type of chicken that I want in it, even when I offer to pay up charge to have that type of chicken that's insane. Never at any other KFC have we not been able to get the type of chicken that we eat and pay an up charge to have it? Their attitude here is absolutely terrible and obviously the management is as well since this has been going on for a long time. They just let over $40.00 walk out of their Drive thru.... and to me, that's crazy. I'm going to head right on down Silver Springs. Boulevard, to Lee's chicken, right?Where I know that I can get breast and thighs, even if I have to pay an up charge and give them my business and my money. They took my order with a kind voice and a smile at the window. And happily let me pay an up charge to have two breasts.. From all the other reviews that i'm reading, I see, I am not the only one!
