5 Star Adjustable Bed Buying Experience in Ocean View:

I had a wonderful buying experience at the Mattress Firm store in Ocean View, Delaware. I bought a Serta Motion iSeries Adjustable Base and a new Serta mattress. Michelle Stephan, the store manager at my neighborhood store was wonderful and the delivery was so fast, too! I bought the bed on a Monday and it was delivered that Thursday! Michelle was friendly, knowledgeable, wore a mask, and I felt it was a safe and friendly environment.

The delivery experience also couldn't have been better. I got a call the night before confirming my delivery window and a follow up text that day! The delivery guys arrived on time, were friendly and polite, wore masks, and were very accommodating. I have to recommend that if you get an Adjustable bed, make sure to get it set up on the lowest height setting as it's kind of hard to hop out of the bed in the middle of the night with it in full on "taco" mode if it's too high up. I also wish I had had the option to buy a second (backup) remote control for the adjustable bed at the store, but Michelle my Sales Rep was so awesome, she emailed me the buying info from the factory!

I am so loving my Serta adjustable bed, it's so great for reading and watching TV in bed. After a long day it also feels so relaxing to sleep with my feet raised above my core and it even helps with my a-hem... nonexistent snoring. (You can't prove anything! We recently purchased a mattress at the Ocean View store and have nothing but good things to say about Josh and our delivery. Josh provided us with loads of information re: the different types of mattresses and the different brands. He did not push us to buy a higher priced item and gave us plenty of time to try them out. Our delivery was right on schedule and the king sized mattress was carried upstairs and put in place easy peezy. On a side note, we also ordered a bed frame from Nectar through the Mattress Firm store. It got very complicated when we cancelled the order because Nectar wasn’t providing a delivery date. I want to emphasize that this was based solely on our schedules not the product. Josh went above and beyond to help us through this process, texting us updates and communicating with Nectar. Unfortunately took my business elsewhere. We wanted to shop around at our own pace, and immediately advised the associate of that, but the lady insisted on walking us through this "formula" she had instead of just letting us do our thing because how we wanted to shop was "wrong." She insisted that we start with a plush to try, even after I told her twice I wanted medium or firm. She also asked my budget and i gave her a rough estimate. She responded very condescendingly that we "wont be looking at x brand today." She also got really snarky when I didn't immediately lay flat on the bed to try it, saying "is that how you really sleep?" No, lady but I lounge in my bed a lot and not always straight up and down. This is why I wanted to do this at my own pace and not be watched or "coached" through some sales formula.
