When my mom and I first went in, we were the only customers in the store. Two women stood behind the counter and stared at us, didn't say hello. So awkward and weird. I feel like we look relatively normal, but maybe not!
A few other people came in and they greeted them warmly, but they seemed to know them already.
A few months ago, my mom's friend tried to sell them a nice glass-top coffee table, and they were really snobby about it and said they couldn't accept the liability of the glass breaking. Well, when we were there, they had a glass-top table for sale. My mom surmises that they prefer to just buy from their friends.
