Update 11/13/22 How quickly we can go from 1 star to 5 and I'm so happy to update my review. Lets start with the quick response back. If it wasn't for your response back I wouldn't have given your facility a second chance. It showed that you at least care. So I decided to book a room for the weekend, and I'm so glad I did. 😊 I called back and spoke with I believe Susan she was nice. Then I called back again different times and spoke with Jerry he is was willing to help very friendly and goes out of his way to make sure the guest have an excellent experience at Onley. I called him to verify my reservation, he let me know it was there and thanked me for calling in advanceĺ. Once I got there I was 2 hours early I spoke with Jerry he was very friendly I explained to him i I just going to pay and I'll be back later. Jerry said fine and set everything up for me and as he was doing that answerd all my questions throughly.
Now before i forget, let's talk about how clean and presentable your establishment was, not only was it spotless it had a fresh clean smell. When I came back I spoke with a nice lady, informed her I was there earlier and paid she immediately saw it in the system, stating yes Jerry put it through and handed my room key after checking my id. I liked that there wasnt no issues and he is such a doll and you really need to give him some recognition. I stayed in room 136 when I opened the door it was so clean and neat not a speck on the floor the same for the bathroom the entire room had a fresh smell. I believe those bad reviews were from when it was under the previous management. I also had my big boy with me and they had designated areas for your dog. I truly must say i enjoyed the stay and the southern hospitality from your staff. I look forward in staying at Onley Inn again when im visiting it was really nice and exceeded my expectation. Ps. Read moreTHEY SAID THEY HAVE NO MORE LINENS!!!! Well check in is at 3... showed up at 2:40 and was told couldn't check in because they didn't have any clean rooms. OK whatever. Went ahead to the event I came for because it was an hour away and started at 4. Anyway after I finished with what i came out here to do. Got back very exhausted from being outside in 100 degree weather all day to check in at 11pm. Lobby was locked and took 15min to get keys. Then was given wrong directions to my room and while circling the entire hotel carrying my luggage noticed that there was a tree collapsed into the pool. Then finally get to my room which smells of cigarettes and mildew, and full of flies and other bugs. Went to get ice from the vending area on the other side of the hotel because while looking for my room had already noticed that the vending area on my side of the building was locked and completely empty. And of course this ice machine doesn't work. Now I have to walk back to the front lobby... which is locked, in case you forgot... wait for the receptionist to finish the phone call that shes on, to come around the desk, unlock the door to let me in and get ice. Get back to the room where my wife has noticed that the air conditioner is making weird noises. Small problem tho because I hit it with my fist a couple of times and it stopped.. which by the looks of the ac unit someone had already done much more than hit it a couple of times already. Then we pull back the linens and there is some sort of... could've been blood... could've been puck... idk what is on the wool quilt and one of the pillows. My wife calls the front desk to ask for a room change... no more available rooms... ok my wife responds... ok I guess we can kill the flies and other bugs, but can we at least get some new linens. Read moreThis place first of all is false advertising. No pool, no exercise room. Then we get in our rooms close to midnight. Rooms were not clean like they should be and wake up to see mold all through the bathrooms. We complained to front desk to be told no other rooms except one up stairs and house keeping doesn't come in till the morning. Talked to house keeping that morning. Which they was going to clean the mold. Came back to one room not cleaned with mold still in there. Other room got clean towels and beds made. When we approached the door you could smell strong bleach everyone's eyes were burning. Opened the door to find it coming from our room. Looked in room and here they sprayed the whole bathroom ceiling down with bleach, which had dripped all over the tub, toilet, and floor. Ceiling was still very wet with bleach. Front counter yet again said house keeping won't be in till the morning. She gave us extra towels to clean up all the bleach which i had to wipe down the ceiling, toilet, tub, shower wall, and floor to clean up all that bleach . The Other room we had to clean up all the mold out of the bathroom ourselves as well. She said owner would be in later on that night and would talk to us then. He never came to speak with us. Our stuff was gone through and even food items taken. The ice machine is broken, no vending machines except soda machines. We have been to the front counter and still have got no resolutions. We keep getting the answer we have no control over what the owner does. The rooms and motel are not up to standards like the pictures show. They are not clean and are over priced for the quality and conditions of the rooms. They should be shut down till they address and fix the problems. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star.
