China Chefs Restaurant — Restaurant in Onley

We ate there over the past weekend. Our order of wonton soup was terrible, it tasted like it was made with a chicken bullion cube, extremely salty, bullion flavor. Why couldn't they just have used chicken broth?? Our next course was equally bad. I forget what we ordered, but it was in a brown sauce. Both my wife and I could taste a burnt flavor in the sauce and we told the waitress this when she asked how our food was. She brought the manager over who tried telling us that was they way they made their food, and then tried to tell us that flavor was the spiciness of the dish. We requested a replacement dish and ordered Kung Pao Chicken. It came in another brown sauce, which also tasted burnt. We just couldn't believe it. I called in a” to go order“, During the cover 19 take out only restriction. I did not have a menu at hand and I asked the person on the phone to recommend a shredded pork dish. I want just pork. They recommended Szechuan pork and I said OK ,which was a big mistake. You could not tell there was any pork in the dish. It was onions and vegetables with no pork that I could detect. This is the best Chinese food this side of Chinatown!!! We have been eating their food for more than 15 years! We had Chinese in San Francisco and Philadelphia. We've even had Chinese fare in Genoa, Italy! We've tried the rest and always come back to the best! The veggies are always cooked perfectly, still crispy and the Spring Rolls are to die for!
