OK, so I’m a local I’m a local smoke Cole, born and raised. With that said, I have much much respect for the service industry. It’s not a easy job. Neither is being a parent. I’m gonna go a little Karen on this one and this is a review that I have waited and kind of calm back-and-forth I’m leaving because I know everyone has a bad day With that said my truck broke down and I was kind of forced to sit it out so to say right before Thanksgiving the on-site manager to him I do not have her name I was it was frightened to ask at some point the on-site manager who resides on the third floor corner unit is the most rude person I’ve ever met in my life before I get into that I’m going to explain that my first two nights there I had to hear screaming from a little kid being hit and screamed out to the top of This woman’s lungs to the point I almost felt obligated and I’m not want to get state people involved families feel obligated to contact DCF that little boy picked out the door and he just looked so sad. You could see red all over him and it was disturbing, but it gets worse afraid of some kind of retaliation from this woman. I kind of kept it to myself and said OK well, maybe she’s an overwhelmed mom you know maybe I’m not understanding maybe her child has a disability and what I’m hearing isn’t going on all the same. I have posttraumatic stress disorder and it caused a lot of anxiety in an already stressful situation With that going on there were terrible winds as Florida would have it. This is our so-called winter months. I had quite a bit of stuff from storage in the bed of my truck and brought it in to be washed, etc. as I was in the process of moving when my truck broke down While I was moving things into my room which the doors are so hard to keep open the door slam shut, and I do understand. I locked myself out of my room about three times in one day, and it was frustrating. All the same and had to be first stop to Richard a key so with the screaming and yelling And an uneasy angle to wheel all of this stuff up the girl told me well if you want back in your room you got to give me $40 cash and I was like well. My card is in my room and all my stuff is still bundled up. I would have to dig for it she has I’m not letting you in that room until you give me $40! I had to take an Uber leave go across town to a friends house them for $40 and she had no idea or and couldn’t even believe what I was going through. I’ll bring it back to this girl who complain about me taking too long, even harassing me when I got back Any request, asked of her was met with an insubordinate attitude, even when I tried to make light of the situation this woman needs a break from her kids and she definitely is not friendly. She does not just play any customer service skills that I would applaud as my fact she seems to go completely the opposite and act as though she is Ruler and power of the hotel. I don’t really understand what the deal was but I will say that there was a gentleman there who was very nice actually the staff other than her was very nice and the Spanish cleaning lady. I was refuse towels on my fourth night there And she was able to facilitate that although she couldn’t speak very well English and if it wasn’t for the other staff members I’ll probably would’ve wound up screaming at this girl. I don’t know if this review will reach any management, but some need to sit down and talk with her and more importantly, I understand what it’s like to be a single mother, but hitting and screaming at your kids all day long really people come there to vacation people come to these hotels and resorts to get away or can we from some thing or maybe they’re in a transition process and the look of shock on everyone’s face was enough that woman was two seconds away from being thrown to the ground and feet up by me or the police called on her but instead, I just sit in my room and listen to it at 10:30 PM I was coming on the elevator and got yelled at by her screaming. I’m trying to sleep explicit word following. Fire this lady!...

Good size room, comfortable bed, clean, 60+” tv, full size fridge, microwave, dressers, closet, lots of hangers, easy chair, small table/2 chairs and small table/2 chairs on a shared balcony. We appreciated the housekeep staff trying their best. The pool area was simple but adequate. Clean, plenty of chairs/lounge chairs, small corn hole game, one table with an umbrella. Easy access to the beach. Mostly families stayed there. It was quiet the 2 nights we were there. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Highly recommended The Beach Bucket (deck/ocean view) for lunch/dinner and Peach Valley Café for breakfast. Salty Church has weekly sunrise church services – we attended the Easter service and enjoyed that. If you needed time before or after, check in/check out – Andy Romano Beach Park is a lovely place to wait/plenty of tables, benches, splash pad, rest rooms, pavilions, parking, beach access.||CONS|Most of the rooms immediately face a parking lot so ocean view means side ocean view. The parking lot is small and not super nice. There is no coffee maker in the room but in the lobby. While the bathroom in the room was clean it was so old it didn’t feel clean. We never saw cockroaches but brought Raid because of some of the reviews. The majority of the area around the hotel is old, in need of cleaning, painting, something. It’s pretty disgusting. The balcony sits over the parking lot, so we never sat out there. Shared balcony means people walk by your room all day; awkward.||CONCLUSION|If you are on a tight budget, want a beach vacation and were not too picky, $61 a night for a hotel on the beach is a good value. We are a senior couple, living in Central Florida, on a budget and for us it was an enjoyable 2 night get away (beach/pool area/local restaurants). That being a said because of the nastiness of the hotel, we would never stay at Chateau Mar Beach Resort again. This motel has potential, but it really needs to be painted/cleaned up and the shared balcony/over the parking lot is...
Read moreWon't do this place again. The place is in a great location. The staff was good. We stayed there one night after an 8 hour drive on the way to a cruise from Port Canaveral the next day. If you are looking for a good location at a cheap price for a few days enjoying the beach and you DO NOT WANT TO GET ANY SLEEP while there this might be the place for you.
The pool looked clean even though we did not use it and there were 2 places right there to access the beach at the property. Parking was tight, but we found a spot both times.
The place is dated. It has been there a good while. It seemed clean though. You could tell they were trying to maintain the place, but there were a few areas they could improve. Do not want to downgrade the place because for the low price it is so-so IF you do NOT WANT SLEEP.
The room had tile floor and the bed seemed clean. The bathroom had the tiniest mirror we've ever seen in a hotel. Ridiculously small. Comically small. Barely useable. Can't understand the mindset of why, but that was not even our biggest issue.
Our issue was the noise. We weren't there during spring break for colleges, but the people in the rooms next to us had their music very loud until 3 AM. We had the room as dark as possible, but you could see the light coming in around the door and through the the top of the door knob which for some reason was not installed correctly.
Bath Towels? I do not think they know what bath towels are. If you take a shower, do not expect anything much bigger than a hand towel. It was like the mirror those hand towels were competing for something trivial they could cheap out on.
What was horrible was that we were so tired the next morning from the lack of sleep. I do not think it is all the hotel, I believe it is its priced to attract the lowest class patrons that only want to party and have no respect for others. Do not go here if you want sleep. Our reason for booking was for a good nights sleep after dinner an...
