Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Ormond Beach

My 4 year old granddaughter loves pizza hut cheese pizzas and seeing the delivery people bringing her a special pizza just for her. 9/19/2018 Place a Delivery Order from this location last night for two pizzas. My Order arrived on schedule and was as I had ordered with one "huge" exception. My granddaughter cheese pizza had something extra. I gave her , two slices and as she was finishing her first slice and pulling some cheese off the second to place in her month, she began to choke ,retching/ puking. I rush over to her, fear she was choking of a piece of hard crust. After what seemed like a eternity, I was able to see and reach to the back of her throat and pull this black looking piece that was stuck in her throat. She had vomited up 3 other black pieces. Flipping out I examined the 2nd slice of pizza to try and see what this black metal substance was. Let me as I was overwhelmed with fear and anger. On the bottom of the other half of her medium hand toss cheese pizza was a large number of these black metal flakes. After making sure she was ok and claiming her down , I call back to this store. I asked for the manager " Trey" said he was a manager. I explained what had happened and that I fear I may have to take my grandchildren to ER. His remarks and action confused me. He said sounds like its pieces of our metal pans., then state he could make her another one. I explained I did not want another pizza, that she wouldn't eat one again anyway. He then offered to refund only that one pizza. I told him we weren't going to be eating either of the two pizzas. So please return my money to my credit card. He said ok, have a nice day.. Thanks for calling Pizza hut.. How can someone who claims they are a manager be so non caring that a 4 year old choked on their product and never once ask if she was ok, or apologize. I understand it may not have been done initially but come on, have a freak heart be concerned that a child or anyone could have been injured really bad, not just say oh it sound like pieces of our pan. Terrible service at pick up. I stood there for 15+ minutes waiting to pick up my prepaid order that I could see just sitting in the warmer. The cashier was on a single call the ENTIRE TIME without acknowledging anyone else who had come in the store. I felt bad for him a little because someone on the phone was placing a $148 order but their various payment methods would not go through. When I calmly asked another worker stocking the warmer if someone else could help at the registers (on behalf of myself and 6 other people waiting to be helped), I got yelled at and told they were understaffed. That's understandable, but the berating and lack of apology was uncalled for. After the worker went off on me and then disappeared in the back again, everyone else who was also waiting looked at each other like, "Wowwww." Finally another worker came back from her lunch break and was able to assist. After the inability of the cashier to reasonably multi-task (it was painful to watch), and after how rudely that guy acted to the customers waiting, I'll take my money elsewhere. Terrible customer service and an incredible amount of inconsistency here, I am never coming back again.

This place is terrible! I ordered a large pizza carryout from this place and asked them if they had the $10 any deal, and the phone when I was ordering they told me they didn't have it. Then when I went to go pick it up I saw them give that exact same deal to someone who came in and paid $10 and some change for a large pizza while I paid $16 for the exact same pizza.

They then at the register played dumb and told me they had no idea what I was talking about. I then went home and called them asking if they had a $10 carryout any deal and they said they did. After asking them why they lied to me they put me on hold and never answered me again, leaving me waiting for well over 20 minutes.

Honestly, if you're looking for quality pizza with no hassle this is not the place to go. This place is very unprofessional when dealing with...
