GoJuice — Restaurant in Ormond Beach

Went to this Ormond Beach Go Juice location last Thursday 5/11/23, ordered two of the $8.50 juices, according to their menu there, and she rang up $9.00 per juice. When I told her the menu says $8.50 she told me that their prices went up, and they just haven't gotten a new menu yet. When I told her that this practice violates "truth in menu", and "truth in advertising", and that I wouldn't get them if she wouldn't give me the listed menu price, she just said "OK". After a bit more chatting with her, she says, "Well, I can try to give you a discount". She did end up honoring the menu price, and I did get both the Sejuiced by Fire, and The Bray juices, but they seemed too watery. I did ask her before ordering if they add ice, and she said yes, so I asked her not to add ice, that I want the full advertised ounces of juice, but, still watery, which makes me wonder if she added some water. Also, I got the Sejuiced by Fire, because I love jalepeno, but I couldn't taste ANY jalepeno. NO "fire". Why would you advertise hours that you don’t follow!!!!!!! Normally I would’ve rated this place 5 stars, I’ve been going here since I was in high school (class of 2017) and have always loved it. No matter where I moved I would take the drive just to get something. BUT there have been too many times that the teens running the place close early because “we aren’t getting much business” while I’m there ready to order. Today I arrived at 3:09pm (they claim to close at 5:30pm) and I watched as a male & female closed up the shop and drove away while we were parking & walking up to the stand. I drove all the way from Port Orange just to be met with individuals who seemingly don’t want to do their job, they didn’t even put outside items away. Just closed the window shade & locked it up. So I guess they've been open about a month and I've been wanting to go Since then. I finally got to stop in today and I went over the menu I had a couple questions regarding the peanut butter because I can't have sugar and they said, no added sugar, and that they make it homemade on-sight! I was like, give me the large Charlie Brown please! Granola banana honey and peanut butter, and Ice! Oh my it was so good! And the prices? Completely reasonable! This little place is like a breath of fresh air for our community… Anybody who's wanting healthy natural they've got coffees, they've got Açaí fruit and granola bowls, they've got juicing and they've got frozen smoothies for after the beach or anytime!
