Surf Style 119: Surf, Swimwear, Sporting Goods in Ormond Beach — Local services in Ormond Beach

My family and I have been going to this store for years and we've always had a pleasant experience. Last night we had an exceptional experience that I would like to commend the staff for. My Husband and I stopped by Surf Style 119 minutes before they closed as he needed several pairs of his favorite shorts (which we can only find them at Surf Style so we stock up when we're there) before we left the area to return home to Tennessee. Although we felt terrible for our last minute arrival time, the ladies working did not rush us and they were not irritated with our last minute purchase. I purchased a $24 shirt and some of the lettering fell off the first day. I went to return it and the manager was extremely rude, wouldn't let me return it and acted like it was my fault the lettering fell off! I've never had lettering fall off a shirt. I had spent over $150 last time and was about to spend another ~$100 until they told me they wouldn't return it. I was ok just exchanging it, nope. Will never shop here again, moving my business to Ron Jon's and other local surf shops in the area. I do not recommend shopping here as the customer service is very poor. I purchased a pair of shoes and noticed they didn’t fit as well as I thought after I left. Returned a few hours later and they wouldn’t let me exchange them for a pair that fit. The staff present at the time were also very rude about it. I don’t have this issue purchasing merchandise from other local surf shops.
