Andy Romano Beachfront Park is a hidden gem along the Florida coast, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient beach experience. One of the first things I noticed was how easy it was to find parking. The park offers a good amount of parking space, which is a huge plus considering how crowded other beach spots can get. I arrived on a sunny weekend afternoon and still had no trouble finding a spot close to the beach entrance.
The park is clean, well-maintained, and incredibly accessible. There are public restrooms available, which are conveniently located and kept in good condition. Having access to clean facilities like that makes a big difference when you’re spending several hours outdoors, especially with kids or elderly family members. I also appreciated the open shower stations, perfect for rinsing off the sand and saltwater before heading back to your car.
The park provides direct access to the beach, which has soft sand and beautiful ocean views. It’s a great place to relax, take a walk, or enjoy a family picnic. There are shaded areas, picnic tables, and even a small splash pad for kids. Overall, it’s a very family-friendly, clean, and enjoyable place to spend the day. Highly...
Read morePark was fantastic! Everything was clean (even the bathrooms!). The tables are spread out and most of them are either under a pavillion or under palm trees for shade. Parking is right there, so no lugging a ton of stuff across the highway down to the beach. Park had a splash pad for the little one, which he loved, a small playground setup, and a ramp down to the beach for those who have trouble on the steep steps. There were also showers at the top of the steps/ramp, water fountains, and a concession stand (prices seemed reasonable but we didn't buy anything). It was busier than I expected for the middle of the week (Wednesday) but we arrived around 10 a.m. and there were still plenty of tables and parking spots. All of the bathrooms are family bathrooms with changing tables, which is great for the kiddos! I do wish they had a few more because the wait was a bit long (I imagine it's much worse on the weekends). But that is my only complaint (if you can call it that!). Overall: well kept and clean facility where everyone isn't on top of each other, lots of shade, and plenty to keep the kids busy! We had a great time; can't wait to go back and not...
