Wingate by Wyndham Oshkosh — Hotel in Oshkosh

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean but worn. Mattress was broken down. Hot breakfast was a joke. Breakfast was from 7-9. We arrived at 7:15. Hot breakfast was dried out(reheated?) brown and serve sausages and dried up hard boiled eggs. There was a waffle station. 1 carton of milk in the refrigerator. We had to ask for butter (no cream cheese) for the bagel. And had to ask for salt and pepper. We were asked if we needed housekeeping. We thought that was included. We said yes but coffee station in room was not replenished. We feel this is a corporate problem not the staffs. Worst Wyndham property we have stayed at. Update........ Just received a call from Mitch. I believe he is the owner or manager of the Wingate Wyndham. He apologized for the conditions stating they just got this property 2 weeks ago and are trying to fix the problems. They are getting new furniture which takes time. He offered to refund one night's charges. We stayed 2 nights. I accepted his offer. Thank you Mitch for recognizing a problem and trying to make it right. We booked a suite at Wingate, upon entering the room, the smell of wet dog was overwhelming. The staff immediately moved us to another suite, which reeked of wet dog and smoke. The staff immediately moved us to their suite which was okay. The bathroom was clean but we were Only provided three towels, one hand towel and one washcloth for two people. The staff cleaning the rooms were quick to provide more, but the room should have been better stocked.

The mattress was worn and sagging in the middle.

The hot breakfast was not good at all. We ended up eating out all three mornings.

I will say that the staff was absolutely amazing and quick to take care of our issues. They were very apologetic and accommodating.
