Id be willing to change this review if the buisness changes.
We use to get food from this location quite often as its on my way home from work. The food quality is always something that could be counted on and even though its expensive ive always felt it was worth the price for the quality of the food.
Recently ive had two negative experiences. Both times i ordered online for pickup, which ive never done before covid19, id normally just come in and order and wait to take home. I work in close proximity with the general public so i figured it wouldn't be safer for the employees not to be in close contact with me.
The first situation happened a few weeks ago. I ordered cheese burgers for 3, called when we entered the parking lot, they made the fries fresh which i could appreciate. I got home and not a single burger had cheese on it and my fiancĂŠes was missing 1 of the 2 toppings he had ordered. I ran out to the store after getting home to grab cheese and melt it on them ourselves. The guy who served us said it had been a busy day. We chalked it up to that and didnt think anymore about it.
The second situation happend a week later. Ordered online again for pick up. They made the fries fresh again -thankyou. Drove home and they forgot my entire sandwhich. I called, the guys that answered jockyed the phone around until I got the manager. I told him i was coming back for it and he offered me a free shake for the inconvenience. -thanks for that as well, my fiancĂŠe ended up with it as im lactose intolerant, i still appreciated the gesture. By the time i got home to finally eat it was maybe 45 mins later and i was annoyed and sad that i now got to eat dinner alone and that i had two negative experiences with this restaurant in a row.
I really hope they figure out something with how the store is running currently. I understand its a difficult time with the pandemic going around but we use to really enjoy 5guys and have never had a negative experience until now. I hope we can go back soon. Until then if we're craving 5guys we will most likely just drive out of our way to go to the...
Read moreI did the online order from the Google search of resturants in my area. Paid via Googlepay. It was stated on my receipt that pick up time was 6:55 pm. I arrived and waited at the cash register to let the staff know I was there. I states that they will not make the fries until you arrive, on the emailed receipt. The employee at the register, had know idea what I was talking about. I showed him the receipt screen. He asked me to go talk to a gentleman at the pick up area. I told him the name on the order. Could not really come up with anything. Waited for 37 mins after my stated pick up time. I went back to the register area, to ask them to refund my credit card. At that time some asked me my orders name. I told them. They said they were working on it. I waited a few more mins. Then they said my name. I walked up and grabbed the bag. Drove home, only to find they gave me some one else's order. I ordered the bacon chedder burger with lettuce and tomato. I had to throw one of the burgers away because it was onions, pickles, and no cheese. I could not understand why some one would pay for that combination. It was un-eatable. I was pretty disappointed with...
Read moreI remember trying Five guys and being unimpressed but the guys at work were saying "hands down the best burger ever" so I decided to try it again just to make sure. Well their burgers are good, not great, kind of greasy and mushy and messy but not bad. Their fries are quite delicious and come with a good portion. The thing is that it's grossly overpriced. When I saw that the "regular" bacon burger was over eight dollars I'd assumed that it was a combo... Nope. Then they offered fries, over four dollars for a regular but I was commited at this point. A regular bacon cheeseburger, regular fry and a regular drink was almost 17 dollars! It's pretty good but not anywhere near 17 dollars good. There are signs all over the place saying that they are the "best value" and "good food, cheap". I don't know how much they paid to get someone to say that but that is the opposite of my experience. I'll go to hardees if I want over priced decent food and save 8 bucks. No amount of "free peanuts" will be worth paying over double what a meal should cost. I guess I should add that the staff was good and the place was clean but still,...
