Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Oshkosh

Food was good except we found other peices of food that didn't belong in our regular mac and cheese for my daughter and I. The people that work here are nice and food came out pretty quickly but the dining room was terrible, all the booths, chairs, tables, and floors are extremely dirty every where. Visited 12/1/24 at 1:15pm, only 2 other tables had people at them when we got here, during the 15 minutes we sat here 2 more couples came in. Walked around for a bit before we finally found the cleanest looking table. The one couple that was leaving let the front know the garbage was full and that was changed 5 min later. The 2 tables that left were never wiped down and the area around them was not cleaned up. Meanwhile people are coming in here and there but not busy by any means and people are just sitting at the dirty tables. One couple came in and ordered and I over heard say the same thing we said, "why are all the tables dirty". I have pictures of how dirty the dining area was but there's not a place to upload them. Excellent service. Too good of service for a Noodles. While I appreciate the effort, I go to Noodles because it's a decent place to have a meal alone. The same employee came up to me four separate times. 1) The first time while I was by the door checking put the menu, to introduce herself and ask if I needed help. Appreciated, but unnecessary to come out from behind the counter. 2) The second time, to deliver my meal. She introduced herself a second time and lingered. 3) The third to introduce herself AGAIN, ask how my first few bites were, and if I needed anything else. 4) The last time was to grab my bowl from me and asked how everything was. It was just a little too much forced interaction for a fast food place. She might be new. This may be a new standard Noodles is trying to implement. Maybe the employee is use to waitressing. Regardless... while i recognize the effort and appreciate the kindness, I don't see this as necessary. I got to places like Noodles for a quick, solo meal so I do not...

They have a wide variety of options from vegetarian to meatatarian. The facility was a bit messy however they were rather busy at the time of my visit. The staff had their game faces on as they were busy with many dine in and to go orders. The one thing I would really like to point out is they really need to have a recycling station as their containers are made of a plastic that can be recycled. When I looked around it appeared they didn't recycle or offer a place to recycle. They did have paper straws. Overall the food is hot, fresh...
