Us Nails — Local services in Panama City

Staff is friendly and I loved how thin they'd make the acrylic.... however, upon my second visit they clipped off a section of nail that had lifted and that revealed a green fungal looking spot. They told me that's just from moisture getting in there, but completely normal so they continued with my fill in. Third visit, same thing with a different finger. One week later, 6 of my nails were peeling up so when they came off...an entirely different nail was fully dark green. I've never experienced this with any other salon, with acrylic or gel, so I researched and asked other nail techs who advised me that this is NOT a usual occurrence and typically comes from improper cleaning of tools (not merely moisture) and to treat the fungus then wait until it's completely grown out before I'm able to get a full set again. Hate that they pass it off as nothing, placing the blame on me for having water under my nails... while three of my nails are now...

Left very disappointed today. Aside from an average pedicure, once my gel nails were finished I noticed she left a decent amount of paint on my skin. I asked if she could fix it and her response was, "your nails are too short it will come off in the shower" as she walked away, not even attempting to care. Probably would have taken 30 seconds to fix. I had them cut down upon arrival because I work in the service industry and can't have long nails. My regular salon (which is absolutely wonderful but closed on Sundays) has never given me such a response or bad paint job. The only reason I came here was because they are open on Sundays and had great reviews online (all older than 6 months or so). I won't make this mistake again. If you want a FLAWLESS manicure no matter what length of nail, go to C'est La Vie on Hwy 231, you will leave speechless every time. My new salon! Since May, I have tried a few salons mostly with mediocre results. Today I tried U. S. Nails. Looking around one of the first things I noticed was how clean it was. That is always a plus when having something like this done. I was taken quickly for being a walk in. Chad was my technician. I showed him the picture I wanted and told him the color scheme and he said no problem. He started the process and was super gentle and took his time to make sure he didn’t hit the skin. Once he was done with the initial old polish removal, he realized how poor of a job the last salon did. He said he didn’t want to talk bad about another tech and I told him don’t worry about it, I know how bad they were. He fixed their work and went to work on the new nails.
