Its a bare bones hotel, they have basic gym equipment, standard breakfast, standard rooms. The gym has an elliptical, a stationary bike, and two treadmills. It also has dumbells up to 75 pounds, an adjustable bench, a jump box, as well as kettlebells and medicine balls, a couple of yoga matts and a sanitation station to wipe down equipment after use fairly basic and plenty here to do a fairly large variety of exercises, but not a much for anything legs. The rooms are furnished with a single fridge about the size of a 12 x 10 box good enough to keep that days leftovers but rough if you are here for more than a few days. There is a couple of tables and a single chair and a small cupboard for clothes and a closet with an iron and ironing board. The beds are fairly standard, firm but not so hard that you cant sleep. Pillows and blankets feel rough to the touch and a bit scratchy and stuffy. The actual condition of the room was clean but in need of repairs; The curtain was broken leaving me to have to prop it up in order to let some light in. The toilet had a constant leak, the shower had broken curtain rod. It is difficult to get service needing you to call in for anything needed since they do not enter rooms in use. And the "free" wifi is almost unusable during peak traffic making zoom calls slideshows and watching anything a nightmare. They charge an extra 35$ a week for High speed internet so the option is there if you need it.||Things I would like to see improve.|I want the rooms to be fully furnished with chairs and standing lamps to make the rooms more livable. A larger fridge if possible. I would like to see some mini stove tops in order to cook small meals so I can eat something other than takeout for extended stays. Most importantly the entire hotel is in dire need of maintenance. Please even just sending someone in with a few anchor screws and some spackle would make it feel less cheap and more welcoming.||This hotel is in a very nice location for work being so close to a ton of major cities and highways, and I hope they can continue with making improvements. Its far from the worst stay, but there are much better...
Read moreThere is nothing more satisfying then after a long day of hard work, then to check into a hotel and enjoy a hot shower to wash way your day. THAT WAS NOT OUR EXPERIENCE. Allow me to explain…. It all started when we walked in. Brianna, at the front desk, was on a phone call. Our presence meant nothing to her. She continued with her phone call, clearly speaking with a co-worker, discussing what rooms needed bedding and other “daily what not’s”. After about 5 minutes, and a long drawn out good-bye, she decided to assist us. She was clearly annoyed and we clearly were wasting her time. So, off we went to our room. The clothes came off, and I hopped into a lukewarm shower. I stood there off to the side for a while then asked my husband to ask the front desk if there was a issue. He was not happy when he returned. Brianna told him they only had 2 broilers that were working and that most likely we would not have any hot water. She then told him “I can’t do anything about that. I can reduce your bill to $99. Do you want me to do that?” WAIT! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! You couldn’t have told us this when we checked in 10 minutes earlier?! I love Hilton hotels especially Hampton Inn’s, but the next time we’re driving through NJ we will NOT be staying at the Pennsville Hampton Inn. There is a Super 8 next door,...
Read moreConvenient but that's about it.... Had to stay here due to a funeral for a family member. The room was good for its size though you could tell the housekeeping was lacking. On the first night we discovered our TV had no pictures. We reported that right away. A few days went by and still no word on the TV. We reported it did a second and third time only to be told they knew the TV was broken but sold the room anyways. Upon check in we were told to ask for housekeeping/cleaning as it was no longer an automatic thing. We asked for housekeeping very early in the morning the day of the funeral knowing we would be gone all day. Got back to the hotel in the evening and our room had been untouched. I went downstairs to the front desk and only got a "Sorry, they must have forgot. We'll get to it tomorrow." The next day came and we went to visit family for most of the day. We came back in the late afternoon, walked back to our room and was stopped by the housekeeper doing the room before ours. So, we grabbed our things and were forced to sit in the lobby for hours waiting for our room to be cleaned. The lobby was clean...ish... But was very hot, humid and muggy and the floors were always being mopped but they left the dining area untouched. Overall, our...
