This Philipsburg hotel was a very lucky find in Southwest Montana. Simple, clean, well run with a wonderful common space for continental breakfast and relaxing. And the iron balcony, where we could sit outside, was a real pleasure for drinking coffee and eating breakfast.
The bathroom was clean, updated, with enough space in the tiled walk-in shower. The rooms are tastefully decorated with their own themes. If there is a negative, you had to climb one flight of stairs. But your bags can go up in a dumbwaiter. Nice touch! If you like hotels with character, where you want to stay a few days, this is it. And check out the photography studio across the street, and the lively bar a block down the hill.

The breakfasts were great and every person connected with the property that we saw made sure our stay was a pleasant experience. I look forward to staying here again. Thank you for...
