Super 8 by Wyndham Phoenix West — Hotel in Phoenix

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!!......I usually don't write reviews, but I decided to write it to warn people about this despicable hotel and its staff. If I could give the hotel minus 5, I would. Please, Please avoid this gross hotel. I booked three nights but only stayed two. Starting with the room, it smelled horrible, like they have not cleaned it in years. Also, the bed's sheets had holes and stains, which I am sure they were body fluid. The covers were ripped and older than my grandmother. This hotel really doesn't care about their customers or keeping things updated and clean. The bathroom was disgusting, mold was all over, and the floors had dirty spots everywhere with pubs. Also, the curtains had dirty white spots all over; I did not even want to know what they were. The pictures on their website are deceiving. The hotel is in a sketchy area so sketchy that they even have the lobby closed at all times and only allow check-in at a walk-up bulletproof window. On top of the room being the worst I have stayed in my life, the front desk workers were horrible. I had an emergency, and I had to step out of the room. So, I called them in the morning and I asked them to extend check out for an hour because I was far and had an emergency, but they refused to extend my check out and hung up on me. I had left my things behind that's why I asked for an extension, but they did not care. No humanity. The girl on the phone, who I later found out her name was Glori (an African girl with an African accent, who worked the morning shift on May 18, 2022, about 5-9”, like in her late 20s, early 30s, and who wore gloves while she worked). I am giving her description because I am sure she lied about her name, just like she lied about being the manager when I talked to her, which is fraud btw. She was the worst, unprofessional, disrespectful, incompetent, and careless, with no people skills; she even laughed when I complained about the situation. She surely did not care about the guest nor to keep her job. She's a horrible human being. Idk how this company even allows her to work and represent their company. It's a shame. Please do yourself a favor a stay elsewhere. Also, the hotel's owner's response to all these reviews is genetic with no sincerity, so do not believe any changes or improvements will be made, they...

My cousin , My 2 daughters (13&15) and myself attend a concert in Glendale AZ and since we live in Tucson my cousin decided to rent a room just for us to get ready. She RSVP a room. She indicated on the instructions that we would not stay the night we just needed the room to get ready. Once we get there its ghetto dirty looking parking , office reception desk ugly area. I noticed immediately someone in an SUV watching us as we walk to the room once inside I noticed he park right by my car. then 15 minutes later we get a banging knock at the door and its the man in the SUV, he was a security guard! we open the door he shoves the door open saying we breached the contract by having more then 2 people in the room and we needed to leave immediately, he put half his body inside the room and demanded screaming that we leave. We were stunned at this action since we had no idea what was happening. My cousin went to talk to the front desk but the guy seemed he was higher then a kite and didn't do anything. As my daughters and myself started getting our things together my daughters asked the security guard to stop staring at them, I told him to stop that he was making us extremely uncomfortable, and he just continued harassing us. All we were doing was trying to get ready for our event.
