Once you past their doors inside, get ready to get a thru feeling of El Salvador very authentic the place is as real as any mom and pop shop in El Salvador, if you are looking for pupusas this is the place (all 3 we had were great) the rest of the food was just ok, red sauce too watery, tamal lack a bit of flavorand horchata too sweet.

The atmosphere is as you will find a place in El Salvador table cloths very humble feeling. Area kind of sketchy but safe

I've been to this restaurant about 5 times. A true hole in the wall, homeless and shady characters in the area, bad part of town. They seem understaffed at this location, usually one cook and one server trying to do everything. I generally order the combo with 2 papusas with rice and beans. The side of beans usually has a weird and bad taste. The papusas, cheese inside are delicious. They have a hotter salsa that has a nice kick, much more so than the watery one they bring out with the chips and carrot/cabbage mix. Went to eat with my mom on Saturday, they had a special for pupusas at $2.25 on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The main cashier wanted to charge us normal price, $3.50 even after we pointed out the special listed on the menu. The lady was rude and told us the special was only for the pupusas on the left of the menu and not the ones on the right, but the special listed on the menu didn't specify that.
